Looking for Premises

As Como continues to grow, and new opportunities crop up, we now need to find premises of our own.  We need a home.

Ideally we need one large room/hall type space, a kitchen and toilets.  A separate room or two would be perfect but not essential, as would parking space.  We are prepared to do some moderate refurbishment as long as the property is structurally sound.

If you hear, or know, of anywhere that may be suitable for us, do let us know.

Please help Como find a home.

raising4ryan

Como is proud to support the raising4ryan campaign and will be announcing details of a Holistic Therapy Day shortly.  We are looking for therapists who will give some of their time to give treatments for donations.  Volunteers are also needed to help us run the day, provide refreshments, bake cakes, etc.  If you would like to be involved, please contact either of us to let us know what you are able to do.

Ryan Elson is a 28-year-old lad from Wantage, Oxfordshire, UK.  On 30 July he was involved in a motorcycle accident in Koh Lanta, Thailand and sustained severe head injuries.  Unfortunately he was not covered by insurance and his family are facing huge medical bills.  Ryan is in a critical condition in the ICU in a hospital in Phuket.

Our local community are now working together to raise the desperately needed funds to cover his medical costs and, ultimately, bring him home.

We do hope you will support us in whatever way you can.

Indigo Children

A couple of weeks ago I was asked if I had heard of Indigo Children and what were they.  This prompted me to write and share an article with you.  Some of you will already know of these children, but for those who have never heard of them before, here is a very brief overview.

The term Indigo Child came from a study by Nancy Ann Tappe, a parapsychologist, who studied personalities through the colour of the aura.   Indigo children come to earth remembering all that is.  They communicate with the higher realms of the spirit world and are highly sensitive beings.  They are highly empathic; they have the ability to define what others are thinking and feeling and know when someone is being dishonest or untruthful.  They are often outspoken, are strong willed and prefer to be guided by themselves.  They baulk at being governed and controlled and often fight against authority.  They see the rules and boundaries that society has created as totally futile.  They do not have the same perceptions of this world; they have a level of wisdom far beyond their earth years.

Indigo children are often diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Dyslexia, and Learning Disabilities, they have a tendency to become unsociable when not around others of like mind.

The Indigo’s life purpose is to bring awareness that the old systems no longer serve us and that we must change or we will fail globally as a civilisation. They are here to bring us truth and light.  Their path is a hard one but they have the strength and wisdom to undertake this task.

If you found this interesting, then you will love our talk on 8th September by Melanie Diamond who is now an Indigo adult.  Click here for more details.
