If you don’t watch any content in resolutions higher than 1080p HD, the LK3C can definitely get the job done, and it will have no trouble letting you stream whatever content you’d like, but for the price, you can usually find better kit.

All in all, the Toshiba WK3C is something of a steal for those who don’t need a higher-resolution screen. Just keep in mind that you're only getting HD (720p) resolution on both the 24-inch and 32-inch sizing options. For that price you're getting Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and surprisingly comprehensive smart TV features. The Cello Netgem smart TV that used to be in this guide made do with a very basic operating system– without even Netflix support – and the move to Android for the latest TVs from this range can only be an improvement. The LK3C Series is Toshiba UK’s most basic line of 2023 TV. It comes in two sizes, 32-inch and 43-inch, and is a 1080p HD line, not a 4K one. It does come with smarts courtesy of Toshiba itself with its own OS that’ll let you stream whatever content you’d like across a plethora of different services. Plus, you can even watch TikToks on your LK3C TV.There’s also Alexa, built-in to the bezel of the TV, that can be used to navigate the TV or to ask questions and conjure up information, as you would with an Echo smart speaker. For applications such as Netflix, Prime Video, and Spotify, you'll need internet access to stream any content; but if you've got a TV that has a Freeview aerial or Freesat dish connected, you can watch broadcast content without an internet connection. Freeview Play is a service that combines on-demand and catch-up television streaming into one place. This allows you to browse to see what programmes are coming up. You can watch live TV and also catch up on shows from the previous week. As you might expect, these TVs scale up in terms of features and price. However, outside of the QF5D Series, you’ll be getting LCD panels, and across all of Toshiba’s UK TVs you’ll get smart functionality.

The Toshiba WK3C isn’t the most eye-catching TV, but it isn’t designed to be that. It is a simple and clean-looking display that would look great in spaces like bedrooms or smaller apartments. It's worth pointing out that if you're looking for the best 4K TVs you won't find them at this size. That's because at 32 inches you simply won't get the benefit of all those extra pixels –so you'd be paying for something you can't really see. These TVs have either HD or 1080p resolution and that's more than sharp enough; we don't think you get any benefit from 4K until you step up at least one size to one of the best 40-inch TVs. It's much better to have HDR instead: that gives you much more dynamic and lifelike images no matter what display resolution you have, and some of these TVs include it. The shiny finish on the bezel makes it look a little cheap and it’s prone to fingerprints, but it isn’t overly chunky allowing much of the real estate to be taken up by the DLED screen. The flashiest part of the design is the stand in its metallic silver shade. You also have the option to mount the TV on a wall.
