About this deal

The Coracor Baby Wrap is brilliant if you’re after something with a pretty pattern (and the same wrapping qualities as the Izmi Wrap). The Hana Baby Organic Wrap and Boba Wrap can work well, too. Sam Kennedy says: As a mum we have so much to do, especially if you have more than one child! Wearing my baby in this enables me to chop vege, hoover and dust all whilst the baby is either happy and watching everything or whilst fast asleep. I've even been able to breastfeed whilst walking the dog and no one noticed! An absolute must have for any mum. I love babywearing for the bond it gives me with my baby. One crucial point to remember is that you should never let your baby fall asleep in this position. Their airways could be compromised, so it's essential to reposition them upright in the sling after feeding, no matter how tempting it is to leave them snoozing.

The Caboo + Organic comes in two parts – the first you simply pop over your head like a t-shirt, before adjusting the size using the two sets of rings. As a rough rule of thumb: you count as one layer of clothing for your baby, and your Izmi counts as at least another. If you’re indoors, or going for a brisk walk and generating some heat, that’s like adding a third layer. As an alternative to a single twin carrier, some twin parents do wear two Ergobaby carriers, two Tulas, two Manducas and so on. If you’ve already got a couple to hand then give it a whirl! It will likely feel very cumbersome with four padded shoulder straps and two passed waistbands, but it’s not impossible. A sling should always mimic how you carry your baby in your arms: snug and high up on your chest so they’re close enough to kiss. Sam Kennedy says: I honestly really wouldn't change a thing about the Izmi Baby Wrap, it's perfect just the way it is. It's comfy to wear on long walks and around and baby agrees. Although the price tag is quite high, it's comparable to most on the market and is reflected in the quality of the fabric. I absolutely love it!

These wraps are super easy to get the hang of. You might need a few tries to get your wrap tied perfectly, but it’ll soon be easy as tying your shoelaces.

Apart from the body panel size, Izmi Baby and Toddler Carriers are almost identical in fit and style. But we have added a couple of extra features to our Toddler Carriers:A tandem Front Wrap Cross Carry (FWCC) is a great first ‘carry’ (way of tying a wrap) for newborns, whether carrying one or two babies – and we do recommend practicing with one baby first until you’re feeling confident. Amanda’s Tandem Hip Carry is a great carry for babies with increasing head control (usually 2-5 months+). Tandem Trouble is a superb YouTube channel for twin wrapping tutorials, using one or two woven wraps at a time. Remember, it might take a bit of practice to get the hang of it, so don't be discouraged if it doesn't work perfectly the first time.

It can also be worn as two entirely separate carriers. Genius. It’s easier to get on and off than you might imagine, although a little practice and guidance may beneeded. Love the idea of a snugly stretchy wrap, but a bit daunted by the idea of tying? The Caboo has long been a favourite of parents who want a soft stretchy newborn sling, without zero faff. You can also use this to carry newborn twins. The body panel width of Izmi Baby Carriers extends from 18cm-41cm (7"-16") and they have been weight tested to a max weight of 16kg (33lbs). We recommend Izmi Baby Carriers for 0-12 month olds of average weight/height. Your baby should be held high and snug against your chest, close enough to kiss the top of their head; and with the carrier tightened to prevent them flopping or slumping away from your body. When carrying a baby or toddler, it's ideal to ensure the carrier supports them across the whole of their seated width, i.e. from one knee to the other. This ensures the carrier supports more of their weight, so they feel lighter on you!Realistically, you may find this is easier to do when your baby is a month or two old, when the two of you have established breastfeeding. Paula McGir says: I would recommend this product because it is suitable from 5lbs upwards. As a foster carer to babies to do have a lot of premature and tiny babies so this is perfect for me. Its very soft material and once I felt safe enough to take my hands away it was very supportive of baby. (more than I thought it would be). I was a little apprehensive at first as it is so long and looked very complicated to do but the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Easy to fold and store away. Yes - it's great quality and the price is excellent. A lot of wraps cost a lot more and you wonder why, when they're all a similar strip of fabric, but I like the brand and the quality feels excellent. I'm confident this will last for several months until my little one grows too big. What changes would you make to this product?
