About this deal

In addition, the spin-up time on the flywheels is awful. Having to press the rev trigger three seconds before you want to fire is far from ideal. Nerf guns are typically made for children and young adults, and as such, they are relatively weak and rather unintimidating. TO AVOID EYE INJURY:WARNING: Do not aim at eyes or face. Use of eyewear required for players and people within range. Use only official Hyper rounds. Other rounds may not be safe. Do not modify rounds or blaster. Ages 14 and up. As a semi-auto you’ll need to pull the trigger for each shot but as an eagle-eyed gunslinger, you don’t need hundreds of darts to defeat your enemies, do you? The answer, after the dust settles, is rather inconclusive. There’s certainly potential, but I’m not as hyped for Hyper as I could be. At the very least, though, the Rush-40 makes a solid argument due to size and capacity.

This pistol-like, spring-loaded blaster carries almost as much of a frightening punch as the more expensive and iconic Calaburn (the top gun on this list) but is far easier on the wallet. Nerf has joined the high-performance foam blasting game with the new Stryfe Pro X blaster! This elite blaster delivers foam at an optimal 150 FPS high-capacity dart blasting for intense Nerf wars.

It also includes two tactical rails for any Rival attachments—one under the front handle and another on the bottom of the gun. Up until now, we’ve only looked at spring-powered blasters, however, there are some pretty hard-hitting battery-powered beasts that can unleash a high-velocity gally of darts that few enemies can escape. Just sitting outside with a chronograph, the 40 averaged 116fps, above the box target of 110fps. My sample blaster fired at those speeds quite consistently, as well.

In a wonderful nod to making blasters look good, the Rush-40 actually has a consistent paint scheme on both sides of the blaster. That, along with the “carbon fiber” mold, makes for a good looking blaster that could have come out of a 90s laser tag arena. ( Indeed, as one reviewer noticed, the ammo even glows under UV light)The Mach-100 is a battery-powered and full-auto beast that can unload rounds at a whopping 110 FPS! FULLY MOTORIZED NERF HYPER MACH-100 BLASTER: Fire rounds with amazing speed from this fully motorized blaster that unleashes rounds at a velocity of up to 110 FPS. Requires batteries (not included)

Well, doesn’t the NERF Mega Motostryke look awesome ? We’re not sure if it’s the dabbled red textures painted across the blaster or the serious chonky size but we are in love with this gun – throw in the fact this is a motorized semi-auto with a transparent clip and you may never look at another NERF gun in the same way.Seeing the shell without the battery tray, one does wonder how the blaster would look with that section completely removed… Final Opinion Well, well well, Hasbro has got a lot of things right with the Elite 2.0 Phoenix – perhaps it is symbolic that the best 2.0 has to offer is named after the bird of rebirth but then again, we may just trying to stretch a metaphor… There are three characteristics of ammo that affect speed and accuracy: size, weight, material, and shape. Size and Weight If you want to put a serious punch behind your ammo, you ideally want to use smaller and heavier ammo over larger and lighter ammo.

Looking to absolutely obliterate your rivals? The NERF Ultra Speed is a foam-dart death machine. With a fire rate of 7 darts per second combined with 24 NERF AccuStrike Ultra darts, the Ultra Speed will have your enemies left in the dust before they even know you were there. TACTICAL RAILS FOR RELOAD CANISTERS: Attach Nerf Hyper round reload canisters to the tactical rails to refill the hopper fast (canisters and additional rounds each sold separately) REVOLUTIONARY NERF HYPER SYSTEM: Featuring Nerf Hyper rounds with an innovative design and material for unparalled performance to maximize capacity and speed The Kirin represents a major milestone as the first blaster elevated to an injection-molded design through a partnership with Phantom Tech. It shoots half-length darts from 140 to 250 fps using the included low, medium, and high power springs. Load the 7-round detachable magazine and send darts flying at elite velocities.

Now before we jump into the blasters, let’s take a brief moment and define what constitutes a “powerful“ and ”hard-hitting“ nerf gun! Every once and while Hasbro comes up with some game changing Tech to turn your blasting game on it’s head. Not only is the NERF N-Strike Elite Infinus an impressive blaster (more on that later) but it features revolutionary “ Speed-Load Technology” which means you can keep feeding the blaster darts without the need to remove the included 30-dart drum to reload. If you hate having to stop the game to reload then this is definitely a blaster to consider. Hyper has the Mach-100 filling that role. It’s the size and shape of a Rival Perses. Unfortunately, however, the Perses (even with less ammo) is preferable.
