On Saturday 20 January 2024 we were informed by leading forensic experts that the Club has been the victim of a cyber security incident. The Fox and Rabbit Inn is a traditional country pub located in the North York Moors National Park on the edge of Dalby Forest on the A169 Whitby to Pickering road. Commenting that he is one step ahead of them, Fox indicates a mountain range that is "just around the corner" that he should choose for Baba Yaga's hut through the Neverafter. We walked from Thornton-le-Dale and were very glad we booked as it was busy which is always a good sign. Recently updated, the cottages are all very comfortably furnished and presented to a very high standard.

This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents. Fortunately, Fox and Rabbit really are the best of best friends and always look out for each other, especially when things don’t quite go according to plan. Our UK Club winter campsites, Affiliated Campsites and our CL network have remained open throughout the period and are welcoming guests daily.

We are again able to access, amend and make new bookings for our UK Club campsites and to make amendments to bookings on our overseas campsites. The forensic team have estimated that they will have completed their investigation in the coming days. The same day we notified the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); a standard procedure in these incidents. I’ve found that a lot of graphic novels for kids have a mystery/superhero/crime fighting element, which is great if your kid likes that stuff, but if they don’t, the milder world of Fox and Rabbit is a wonderful alternative. We would like to begin by thanking members for their kind messages of support following the update from the Club's Director General yesterday (see below).

We were able to swap the red cabbage for peas, served with carrots and broccoli separately, this was plenty for the two of us. The moorland village of Goathland is nine miles to the North famed as "Aidensfield" in the popular television series "Heartbeat".

Highly experienced Head Chef David Owuor has led the kitchen team for over a decade and takes pride in using the best in local produce. Enjoyable, sweet and funny, these stories are especially great for younger or less able readers, with engaging illustrations and larger print text.This original sampler was inspired by the hand drawn motifs found in a sampler design book for the 1600. Our IT teams and external partners have worked all weekend to continue to bring back the club's remaining systems. If you take a leisurely walk or two minute drive into Levisham valley you will be on the station platform of the Levisham stop on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway which runs from Pickering to Grosmont and on to Whitby during the summer months. The winter Club Campsites have remained open throughout the incident and can be booked either via the campsite directly or the contact centre.
