I have learned to like this quite a bit, I don’t find it as strange anymore and I more find it delicious. Then in the beginning of 2022 bought the big mist, now Cheirosa 39 and the smell is completely different and I just do not reach out for it.

My boyfriend noticed the fragrance a few hours after I applied it and said I smell good, asked me what it is, and when I said it's a coconut body spray he said it's definitely not coconut, but agreed that it does smell like caramel. I sprayed about 6-8 times and it lasted about 5-6 hours with very little projection, on my skin/clothes/hair.Not because it doesn't smell good, but because it's quite generic and honestly, the other offerings just smell better. If anyone has some that they’d be willing to part with, please get ahold of me because I would love to get it! A beach-vibe alike the vintage coppertone suntan oil , you'll be smelling like a day at sunny caribbean beach, I love it! Im normally not into coconut fragrances but I wanted to try all the sprays from them and I do enjoy this one. I consider any body mist I can still pick up traces of after an hour to be a success and I actually like that this isn't too gourmand, it'd be too sticky then.

This is my favourite SDJ in comparison to ‘62 and ‘40, obviously this is pure sweet coconuts but the praline note gives it a coco butter hint. This scent can be tropical but also very gourmand, depending what lotions or other perfumes you layer it with. The moment I spray it on, I get coconut sweetness and orchid, it smells kind of odd, overly sweet indeed. It reminds me of the delicious greasy coconut macaroon with crispy exterior and chewy buttery goodness on the inside.

For reference, I do love all of the other Sol de Janeiro fragrances that I have tried… Rio Radiance, 62, 40, and 68! I also see where people are getting a popcorn note, and honestly it seems more prominent in the cream than it does in the spray. It's also not listed but there has to be some sort of salt note here that some of the reviews say reminds them of popcorn.

The reviews about this mist led me to think this mist would smell very buttery, popcorn-like and nauseatingly sweet, so I never cared to try it out.
