About this deal

A. We would not recommend using this for your lawn. Use a fertiliser that has been specifically designed for lawn use such as Aftercut Ultra Green or Safelawn. Transplanting – 140-170g/sqm. Add to soil 2 weeks prior to transplanting, making sure the soil is ready for nutrient uptake and aiding growth after moving. An average dose for top-dressing is 150g per sq m (4½oz per sq yd)for most crops. However, it is better to under-dose than over-dose, as more can always be added later. For less hungry crops or lawns at risk of scorch, 100g per sq m (3oz per sq yd)may be preferable. For greedy vegetable crops use 200g per sq m (6oz per sq yd), but split this into two doses with a four week gap between applications. Using domestic poultry litter As the product isn’t a liquid, there’s less runoff and wastage too. 2) It makes for a Perfect Soil Improver/Base Feed Seed Sowing – 35g/sqm. Prepare seed bed and sprinkle. Rake well in and once seeds are established another application can be added as needed.

It helps enrich the soil and maintain the soils delicate balance. Mineral Analysis:Planting Shrubs & Trees : Apply between 250g & 500g (approx. 5 to 10 handfuls) into the planting hole and mix with the soil. My pet hate is liquid fertilisers that are so strong, they burn the foliage or, worse, get washed away as soon as it rains. Vegetables - 20kg per 100m² - incorporate into the soil well before sowing/planting. Top dress with 8kg/100m² after one third of cultivation period

Only to be used only where there is a recognised need. Do not exceed the appropriate application rate Ha after grazing in Winter. Over Winter the pellets will incorporate in the top soil and help initiate greater biological activity increases growth in Spring. Records the default button state of the corresponding category & the status of CCPA. It works only in coordination with the primary cookie. Raw manure contains the wrong form of Nitrogen. Composting converts most Nitrate Nitrogens into microbial protein and mineralised ammonium which is the most beneficial form of nitrogen for plants as it is readily available for the plant to use, converting the energy into plant growth.

Note: We don't ship plants on Fridays due to the extended period they would remain without light & water

You can use this type of fertiliser on crops as well as ornamental plants. It’s safe and natural. 4) It’s Sold in Large Quantities TOTALLY NATURAL: You won’t find a more organic product, our poultry manure is not only potent but is absolutely 100% natural. With no additives that also means you can use it on your lime-hating (ericaceous) plants too! To grow well, plants need a wide range of nutrients in various amounts, depending on the individual plant and its stage of growth. The three key plant nutrients usually derived from soil are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, while carbon, oxygen and hydrogen are absorbed from the air. Other vital soil nutrients include magnesium, calcium and sulphur. Gardeners can add nutrients by applying fertilisers (either artificial or naturally derived) to boost plant growth and improve flowering and fruiting. nutrients compared to synthetic fertilisers such as Growmore, as illustrated below, and it is slower to release its nutrient content, some of which will not be available until the soil warms up in late spring and summer, even if the product is applied in late winter or early spring.Fertilisers usually have their nitrogen, phosphate and potassium levels expressed as 'NPK' values. Nitrogen promotes green leafy foliage; phosphate promotes strong root systems and potash promotes fruit and flower production and general plant health. Dried poultry manure can be used on vegetable and fruit crops, although additional potassium fertiliser may be needed (e.g. sulphate of potash or organic potassium-rich fertilisers derived from sugar beet processing). Poultry manure and ericaceous (acid-loving) plants Here are 6 reasons why you should try fish, blood and bone fertiliser: 1) Gradual-Release but Not Slow-Release

Vegetable Beds & Flowers : Apply 150g-300g (approx. 3-6 handfuls) per square meter prior to planting. Then re-apply every 6 weeks during the growing season. Continuous laboratory controlled monitoring is maintained and recorded, ensuring a sterile, safe product.

Fully composted, pelletized poultry manure avoids many of the inherent but misunderstood problems associated with the use of raw manures. The main issue is that raw manures flood the soil with excessive amounts of nitrate-nitrogen. Offers steady release of all major nutrients together with Calcium for pH maintenance, a broad range of trace elements and humus - a source of mineral nutrients for soil conditioning.
