About this deal

Please tick if you would like to receive news, offers and information from our trusted and carefully selected partners that we think you might like.

Discover spectacular views of the city of Bath and cross the Palladian Bridge to catch your reflection in the lakes. From our Award winning bathwater barrier to our bath seats and hooded towels, discover everything you need to create a soothing and engaging bathing experience. Photoshoots must be booked in advance and all commercial photographers must hold a Prior Park license to take pictures in the garden. As we enter the planting phase of the project, the garden is fully open to visitors who can access the lakes, dams and paths once more. L shaped baths can be incredibly time and cost consuming when bathing a baby because of the larger area.

The original 18th-century wall that lines the upstream face of the dam has also been repaired and extended, to help prevent the crayfish burrowing into the dam itself. While time has impacted the lakes’ condition, some pesky intruders have also caused significant damage: the American signal crayfish. There's a small part of the garden in the Pasture marked in grey on the map which we ask visitors to not walk whilst the grass regrows following the dams project. Keeping in line with the Governments Environment Plan to reduce domestic water usage, the BabyDam Bathwater Barrier is a must for today’s environmentally conscious family. Located just downriver from the Pulteney Bridge, the Pulteney Weir (or just “the Weir” for short) was built in the late Middle Ages to prevent the river from flooding the town of Bath.

Similarly to the middle lake, the banks of the lower lake had been deteriorating and gradually slipping into the lake. The main phases of the works took around two and a half years, due to delays as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic and severe weather.

Once your child is able to sit up, the bath can be filled to a higher depth by fitting one of the plugs supplied into the safety porthole. The changing mat is excellent quality and I am a childminder so it will be really tested, so far so good. Set in a sweeping valley above Bath, visitors can enjoy magnificent views and are a stone's throw away from the Bath Skyline - a six-mile circular route encompassing beautiful woodlands and meadows, an Iron Age hill fort, Roman settlements, 18th-century follies and spectacular views.

The bath seat is as described, my little girl is on the tiny side for her age so I have had to put a foam insert into it to stop her from sliding about, but apart from that she loves her new bath chair!
