About this deal

It is a little odd that he refers to his dick as Charlie in his internal monolog, but not a deal breaker for me.

My one star review is for me fundamentally despising Prem and his fundamental fuckboyness that never improved. Fast forward a bit later in the story and Prem and Kareena found themselves at the same restaurant and immediately after sharing a few drinks, having a long conversation, they proceeded to have a little make out session which then abruptly ended, and Kareena was left in an embarrassing situation. Her prim and proper outfit was somehow sensual as her sweater vest clung to the swell of her breasts.

Kareena Mann dreams of having a love story like her parents, but she prefers restoring her classic car to swiping right on dating apps. To get back in his donor's good graces, he needs to fix his image fast, and dating Kareena is his only option. so the book starts off super cute, there are funny whatsapp family group texts, good south asian culture rep, the first time prem and rina meet (pls the way he didn't want to introduce himself as a doctor, so he says "i fix broken hearts" skjskskj). The author’s explanation for Charles can be found here and I will question to the end of my days why the explanation was fully deleted from the book. This first book in Sharma’s “If Shakespeare Was an Auntie” series is a recommended first-tier purchase.

this book had me unbuckling my seatbelt at six flags, flat ironing my skull, boxing a stingray, and drinking my protein shake with a side of peroxide. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. Prem Verma, a love-phobic TV doctor, who get into a viral argument about love on the set of Prem’s TV show, The Dr. The character development is top notch, and readers will love seeing the protagonists realize that love can be a welcome surprise. This story had fake dating/ engagement, meddling family members, funny banter, strong female lead, highlighting important topics, little bit of spice, and romance. The way Nisha wrote this book was not only sweet and funny, but also highlighted a variety of significant topics.

there were scenes that had me running blocks around the neighborhood 🏃‍♀️ this book is spicy and i mean SPICY SPICY. Dil is what would happen if you put all my favorite romantic comedy tropes into a blender: a frothy, snarky, hilarious treat with a gooey, heartwarming center. The enemies-to-lovers vibes, fake-dating plot, passionate banter, and stubborn personalities made the tension explosive. With a light touch, Sharma immerses readers in a deeply emotional and witty story of love arranged and love inevitable. Okay, so I admit to having this on my TBR shelf a tad longer than I wanted, but finally got to read it, and I enjoyed it! Even though they have warring interests, the more time Prem spends with Kareena, the more he thinks she's might actually be the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Even though they have conflicting views on love-matches and arranged-matches, the more time Prem spends with Kareena, the more he begins to believe she’s the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. This is literally perfect in every aspect whether its writing style, plot, characters, pacing, EVERYTHING.
