About this deal

For me it wasn't even about what happened, but was about how annoying as shit the characters were 😭- or to put it more ✨eloquently✨: was about how unbelievably immature the characters were barely that far into the story- and how unlikeable they became because of it? While he has more character development and a backstory, some of his actions were too out of character from what he’d been set up to be. I may be a silly little girl to him, but he’s intent on protecting, possessing, and claiming me in every way—his little piece of purity.

Cosa Nostra: I don’t even know where to start or how to put into words how much I loved this book -this series. The narrator was amazing and definitely brought forth the emotions and personalities of the characters in this book.

I love when an author gives us character development and, in this case, both characters were change for the better by being with each other. Niyeyse oğlanla tanıştıktan sonra baleyi unutuverdi s:Ds:D Başta ne güzel onları da anlatıyordu ediyordu, sonra sevişmekten fırsat kalmadı herhalde. This is Cassidy Slater and Max Butchers story Cassidy is the baby Sister of Konnor and Max is a key player in the district.

To see Max soften for sweet, innocent Cassidy is a wonder to behold and will have you seeing heart-eyes while you swoon over his flawed perfection. There was a bit of involvement of other side characters here and there, which added to the tension of the world. A man twice my age who kills brutally, takes territorially, and hides his emotions deep within layers of smooth control. Max the brooding gentle giant but only to Cassidy and the flirty silly Cassidy who is such a sweetheart. Nicci brings them all to life with her writing and you just want desperately for them to have their HEA.More secrets were revealed in this story and I'm pleased to know that some part of this story got resolved. I wish the book had a little different ending, since there was so much missed, but otherwise it was an absolutely incredible story. The FMC has been obsessed with the MMC from the beginning of the book and we get a small mention of how she first saw him. This book was all kinds of wonderful, beautiful, heartbreaking, tear jerking, breath stopping amazingness. But, mostly it's because as u read further u begin to want Cassidy as much as he does and in the process u hate him 'cause, like, every other character in the book .

Reading the Kids of the District series feels like gorging on a deliciously scrumptious cake, despite knowing it's gonna be bad and hurt you irrevocably in the end, you just cannot help yourself from devouring it.the heroine is a virgin and was making out with this one guy (because she wants to)- the hero sees this and proceeds to split them apart and beat the guy up- he doesn't think the other guy is good enough for her and says that the heroine is asking for it and pins her arms and unbuttons his jeans to 'get it over with'- the heroine starts crying and tells him to stop, so he pulls her into his truck to drive to her house - where she proceeds to want 'his forgiveness'- I'm sorry what? I really wanted to dislike this book because damn was Cassidy annoying, but for the life of me I couldn’t. Loved this book and even though it’s a big longer then I usually read I found myself sad that it was over. I enjoyed the complexity of Cassidy's character and the tremendous growth she's made throughout the series. It could unravel everything that I am, strip me back until I'm nothing but bare bones and a swollen heart.
