About this deal

When using this product, basic precautions should always be followed.Read all Instructions before using this product.Save these instructions for future reference. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when using this product near children. Repeat until your dog spends most of this training time relaxing in the closed crate waiting for treats and does not whine, bark or try to escape. Continue to increase the Treat & Train time increment by one level each time she was able to remain calm while you are out of sight for at least 15 minutes until you get up to "45". In parallel with this, Aegis ran a safety assurance process on behalf of Schweerbau which was compliant with the Common Safety Method – although the project was deemed non-significant, the process applied ensured that best practice was followed. Aegis also managed the process for achieving Network Rail product acceptance, by demonstrating achievement of the requirements in terms of purpose and safety of operation. Note: Delivery times are a little slower than we would like for our UK customers and this is due to additional customs regulations on imports from the EU via the UK. This is beyond our control & we thank you for your patience.

The training itself proved highly effective with Dolly. Before we started, she wasn't great at down-stay. She would get it right about half the time but the other half, would stare at us quizzically in sit. Extremely adorable, but missing the point. After a week walking her through the various down-stay exercises in the manual, she was a pro. By the end, she had even started mastering place. She was so good that when two strangers came over to deliver a piece of furniture, Dolly laid down in her place without needing any treats. Normally she'd be jumping on said strangers for kisses and pets. Best of all, I could send Dolly to her place and answer the door 20 feet away, ensuring she stayed in her place by continually dispensing treats with the remote. This ability to multitask is the machine's best feature.Over the following years, Schweerbau has developed and introduced further highly innovative technologies including rail milling machines for underground operations and rail rotational planing machines (DHOB technology) suitable for the productive, high accuracy and clean machining of rails in turnouts. Its most recent development has been the HSM high-speed mobile rail treatment train, again setting new standards in terms of output, quality and, last but not least, safety. The Treat n Train's dog-proof housing measures 13.5" x 7" x 8", and weighs 4.6 lbs with batteries installed. It will run for approximately six months on 4 D batteries (not included). One year manufacturer's warranty.

Avoid leaving your dog in the crate for longer than she is comfortable with. While you are working on teaching her to be comfortable in her crate, you may want to take her with you, leave her in a gated area, pen, or with a pet sitter. Automatically feed a treat every few seconds or minutes. This is the ultimate tool to help teach dogs to be alone and is a great help for grooming and crate training! Press "dispense" on your remote and then help your dog to find the treat if needed. Keep dispensing food into the crate every few seconds until your dog is staying in the crate waiting for the next treat to fall. Avoid forcing your dog into her crate as this can make her more upset about being in there and less likely to relax. Say "kennel" and give her a treat when your she goes in her crate. Close the crate door and give her a chew.

Customer Reviews

The HSM was fully approved and introduced on the German rail network by Deutsche Bahn in 2016, where it proved its capabilities in terms of output, quality and safety. What's included in a Treat & Train kit? Each kit contains a battery-operated food dispenser with two (2) interchangeable kibble disks, hand-held remote control with battery, extendable target wand with removable base, detailed instruction guide, and comprehensive training DVD. The 4D batteries required for the base unit are NOT included. Remove the Treat & Train machine - congratulations you have a crate trained dog! Continue to give her a yummy chew each time you leave her for more than a couple of minutes to make sure she is always happy to go into her crate. Hand-held remote control, which can operate in 4 separate channels and allows you to work up to 100 ft, even through walls. You can press to release one treat or press and hold to release treats at set intervals. How is the Treat & Train different from the Manners Minder? The Manners Minder and Treat & Train Machines are exactly the same except for a slight difference in color.

As a general rule, avoid leaving your dog in the crate for more than 4 hours at a time or 8 hours per day maximum (not including overnight). Aegis Certification Services provided the independent assessment (NoBo/DeBo and PAB – Notified Body/Designated Body and Plant Assessment Body) services to ensure that ORR (Office of Rail and Road) authorisation was achieved in the most efficient manner, allowing Schweerbau to begin bringing the benefits of its rail treatment services to the UK railway. Walk out of her sight. Wait about 3 seconds. If your dog stays calm, press "dispense" and then return to the room. Do not dispense treats while you are within sight of her. If she starts to fuss, wait until she calms herself until you return. Repeat this until your dog stays completely calm while you practice this step. Open the crate door and take a break. By taking full advantage of the experience and know-how gathered in railhead treatment over the past 30 years, Schweerbau International focusses on the design, manufacture and supply of specialised high-technology maintenance machines such as rail milling trains, rail grinding trains and specialist maintenance trains.Set up the Treat & Train so that the treats fall into your dogs crate. If you have a wire crate, you can simply remove the dish and place the Treat & Train on top of the crate. If you have a plastic crate you take off the orange dish and make a funnel out of a paper towel tube, place the Treat & Train on a chair or box next to the crate and have it funnel the treats in through an opening. How soon can I start training a puppy with the Treat & Train? Since this program relies on positive reinforcement, you can start puppies as soon as they can eat dry kibble and are weaned from their mothers.

Does the system come with a warranty? Yes. The system is guaranteed for one (1) year against manufacturer defects. Set the Treat & Train to "3 sec" and "variable". Say "kennel" and dispense a treat when your dog goes in her crate. Close the crate door and then dispense another treat. Walk out of her sight. Press "dispense" when you are outside of her sight and then return immediately. Do not dispense treats while you are within sight of her. Repeat until she is completely calm when you go out of sight. For decades, Germany’s Schweerbau, operating from its base in Stadthagen near Hanover, has been one of the main service providers for mobile rail treatment throughout Europe. Providing rail profile planing and oscillating grinding services since the late eighties, during the mid-nineties the company introduced the world’s first mobile rail milling train. Since RCF can significantly reduce rail service life and is a serious safety hazard, new methods of dealing with the worst rail defects have been sought. Over the last decade, rail milling has been identified and introduced by railways throughout Europe as an essential treatment technique to increase rail service life, thereby significantly reducing rail replacement requirements and capital expenditure. While it's not a necessary tool in dog training, it does a remarkably good job of teaching down, stay, and place amid distractions with clear instructions for owners, and positive, treat-based reinforcement for dogs. I could see this being useful with agility training, for example. You could also use it with crate training since it'd allow you to dispense treats when a dog is calm and well-behaved in their crate without opening the crate door.
