The first witnesses gave contextual evidence—the historical, social, political, economic, and cultural situation of Chad before and during the Habré regime. He also showed no emotion at the horrifying sight.” This is simply untrue and gives you an idea of the standards and tactics used by the media to paint a horrible picture.

With all due respect I find it mind boggling how people can continue to support a complete shambles ( not my words, the liaison officer who gave evidence) of an investigation. I note you fail to mention that Mr Middleton set up an organisation to help other wrongly accused people, www.wronglyaccusedperson.org.uk and has devoted himself to that organisation since being acquitted. I was honoured to be asked to join that organisation, and am proud to be part of it.

Several people were questioned extensively by police and ruled out including most of the people mentioned in the documentary.
