Fans of the novel is an interesting and fun read that will teach whoever reads it. There is excitement to this book, all of these things are important to good children’s historical fiction. Some found that they got emotional by reading parts of the book. Some enjoyed reading about Barry’s story, and these are a great way for kids to get into chapter books. Some like the way that Barry tells his story of heroics, but does not boast or brag. He just tells it like it is. I followed its sniff-a-licious scent to the BIGGEST building I've ever seen, and the smells coming from inside were the most dusty, moldy, oldy, dirt-lectable whiffs I've ever wrapped my snout around.

With some extra time to kill last Saturday afternoon, I read Dog Diaries: A Middle School Story, which is probably the worst entry in the Middle School franchise! There's absolutely no plot! Yes, I know the story is told from a dog's point-of-view and the book is aimed for children, but, "Come on!" At least include a small plot in the story!!! The book is mostly a bunch of unfunny jokes and gags that makes the dog Junior look very unintelligent. The only saving grace is the fun illustrations! Barry der Menschenretter—a.k.a. Barry—the most famous St. Bernard dog in history, tells the story of his life for the first time. Now, I know what you're thinking - dino-roars don't exist anymore, right? WRONG. I spotted one in the flesh, well in the bone...And it smelt tail-waggingly tasty! Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! I've been waiting for ages to tell my story, and now it's finally happening! Being Rafe's dog isn't always easy, but it is always EXCITING!
