Reflexology works on the principle that each zone on the foot represents an area/organ in the body. When pressure is applied to an area on the foot, the corresponding area in the body is receiving treatment.
This is a three and half day course.
Course content: This course will cover the theory behind reflexology, will be mainly practical work and requires 20 case studies.
By the end of the course you will know:
- History & benefits of reflexology
- How to carry out a consultation
- Equipment needed
- Mapping the feet
- How to carry out a reflexology treatment
- Professional Ethics/Code of Practice/Working Environment
- Insurance and how to obtain it
Pre-requisite: A Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology (or equivalent) is required. Como offers an Anatomy and Physiology course undertaken by home study. However, you will need to have completed A&P training before you start the Reflexology Course.
