About this deal

It's perfect for an everyday signature scent, and for the workplace if you're not allowed to wear strong scents. I worked in F&B while I was wearing this as my signature scent, and it worked great. The sillage is pretty intimate, so you would have to stand very close to me to smell it. But you can smell it easily on yourself and your skin all day -- it doesn't just disappear into nothing. For the price point and for being an EDT, I think longevity is great! It’s definately not my favorite but mind you I usually only wear gourmands/oriental/spicy/green scents. I’m not really a lover of fresh scents but I grab this after a shower for the feeling of extra freshness or on a productive day. It does have a very sharp opening still, but it settles down after a minute or two. Pure Grace is simple, unpretentious and shy. I personally like it, but am not crazy about it. Two reasons: it's too weak and soft, and also, it doesn't demand to be remembered.

This fragrance gives me similar vibes of Blanche (Byredo), I don't know if I could call it a dupe of its own but certainly lovers of the genre should consider it as an affordable option. But really, to say all of this and not recognize that it is beautiful exactly for what it is would be a dis-grace (da-dum-tssss). Bc of its mild freshness it's hard for me to imagine anybody disliking the fragrance, but I've recognized that it's missing a little something. I've tried to find other perfumes I like as much as or more than but when I compare it to others they never match up-other than egyptian musk which does have all the good of this and a little something else except i've become utterly nose blind from using it as a signature for years. It's very nice. Something to put on after a shower and you will smell clean for 3-4 hours. Won't last all day and while it's most definitely not a "night-out" scent nor is it a "special occasion" fragrance...it's probably one of the BEST choices for your "casual jeans & T" or "running errands" scents. I was probably 4 or 5 years old, at my auntie's cottage in St-Côme QC, when I smelled my first water lily. I bought a sample then instantly bought the whole eau du parfum because it's like putting on your wedding dress on your wedding day when you're young and have your whole life ahead of you, and you glance outside and see the warm sun on a summers day beaming down on your white rose bouquet. you feel loved, hopeful, excited yet fearful. butterflies in your tummy. sparkling, hopeful, fresh, romantic, exciting, you feel beautiful and feminine, youthful, loved. We were cruising on a pedalo by the shore, when my dad decided we'd take a little break on the water, under the shade of a weeping willow (my favorite tree!). We were looking at the frogs and toads, then papa said that I could bend over the boat and grab a lilypad, that he'd hold my feet so I wouldn't trip overboard. Needless to say, my friend was quite relieved when I gifted her a full bottle of her signature scent, and all was right in the world again.

If you cut "Lavender" out and put "Citrus" more, then it's gonna be "Philosophy Amazing Grace", really their smell are so similar in the way of another compounding note like musky, white flowers etc. I tested this today while helping teach Sunday school (because, c'mon...it's only fitting), and it's a good choice for situations like that. I doubt anyone smelled anything, and if they did, it would've been just subtly during a hug or something. I loved it, and I still do. It is light and fresh, but with that muskiness in the base that makes it last on the skin. It doesn't lean too citrus or too white floral. It's a really unique blend that I haven't smelt in any other perfume! It's very feminine and soft. this holiday, share your grace with everyone you embrace with the philosophy amazing grace eau de toilette collection featuring three luxurious ways to enjoy the iconic soft floral perfume. includes:Absolute soap scent. That I absolutely love! The lavender is prominent, so if you don't like lavender, skip this one. The notes I detect in this are water lily, lavender + soft dewy green notes & light musk. Nothing is overpowering, everything is soft like a breeze. 😊 Despite it being described as a soft floral, Amazing Grace opens sharp and lingers for far longer than I care for. Those who've described it as peppery are spot-on. Its dupe by PB Premier is less peppery, so it may be a better option for those who like the fragrance. After wearing it for a few days I can now say I do sometimes smell laundry soap. Specifically the big yellow box of powdered Tide laundry soap. So to me it doesn't smell like clean clothes, or freshly laundered sheets or whatever, but it does smell a bit like a box of lemon scented laundry soap before it goes into the water. They have a clean, soapy smell, so they are perfect for spraying right after showering and moisturizing your skin. I'm seeing a lot of complaints about longevity, but it does pretty ok on me, I have the EDP and not the EDT, which may be why. It lasts about 6 hours before becoming a skin scent, longer layered with the lotion. I don't notice it after a while, but I'm consistently told that I smell good by my roommate whenever I walk into the kitchen, so I'd say projection is about 4-6 feet at least for the first few hours.

I think if you're a big Dior or Chanel fan, for example, a fragrance like this might *seem* a bit pedestrian, because it's not a sillage monster and it's not overly girly... and some like fragrances that announce them, or are recognisable (in a bold way) where this one is noticeable but it's not going to clobber any over the head. I’m very prone to headaches and this gives me headaches sometimes (most fragrances do, so nothing special for me). Inoffensive, clean, perfect for formal occasions. I like to use it when I'm sad to give me a sense of wellness. Still enjoy the bottle design and believe this is a safe blind buy. Quite a skin scent. In fairness maybe? I do not like lavender in general but I have disliked certain elements in many perfumes and end up loving the combination...when it is right, but this is just so wrong. I have never said this in a review before but a dab, a bit more or a lot; this IS a very offensive scent, I actually would not be able to stay near someone wearing it.On Fragrantica, these would be the EDTs: Amazing Grace 20th Birthday Special Edition, Amazing Grace Melarie Odelusi Limited Edition At first I hated it. Upon first spray all I could detect was a sharp smell of chemicals almost like hair spray. After a while when it had settled down it turned to a floral soapy freshness. I don’t really smell any jasmine on me it smells more like lily of the valley.. maybe its my chemistry or my poor recognition of notes I don't think this is old fashioned, nor sexy, nor interesting, and certainly not memorable. But it's *nice* and clean, and finally my curiosity is satiated. I've smelled this before though, no doubt about it! It's very familiar, although I can't recall who it was on (it's actually driving me nuts). I have no doubt most people have encountered this somewhere, at some point. You'll probably think "Ohhhh...this! OK, I know this smell! 💡" Okay, with that stunning lyrical introduction, you blessed Perfumites probably imagine that I will give a rave review to this perfume. Yet, whilst I like this perfume, I'm not adoring it - yet! Maybe I have strange body chemistry, but I’m always on the lookout for a fragrance that doesn’t dry down to, and linger on my skin, as its most readily identifiable, one-dimensional base note (e.g. tonka bean, patchouli, sandalwood, tuberose, musk, etc.). For that reason, most fragrances, no matter how cheap or expensive, wind up falling into one of about a dozen familiar, tired old cloying base scents that come across to me (and others in my proximity, I fear) as something of an headache and/or allergy-triggering olfactory assault instead of an enhancement.

who and when can you wear it? I think it's fine as unisex, a man wearing it will smell of inoffensive neutral mild soap and shampoo. Just clean and showered. Since it is so mild and neutral it can be worn any time of year, but would be great in fall with a cozy sweater and also in summer when you want a mild light smell.there are no sharp citrus notes here so it would be perfect for relaxing on the beach or q summer picnic when you want to just smell clean. Definitely not a evening scent unless you are going to bed TO SLEEP in comfy pajamas and cuddling your dog or teddy bear. On a night time date at a fancy restaurant or sophisticated event this scent is not enough at all. It is pretty smelling, clean and inoffensive so would be great for the office or church or weddings Some people really seem to love this, and I wanted to, but as other reviewers have noted, it smells like a harsh, screechy freesia-and-baby-powder fabric softener sheet to (and on) me.For women this scent could possibly be extremely sexy in a subtle way. I envision a woman age 26-36 with natural fresh makeup in a floral feminine demure dress and kitten heels with a soft gentle voice wearing this scent on a date. It's the fragrance equivalent to natural looking bare-faced date makeup - mascara and nude lip gloss . In an intimate setting, it is sexy because it has such close sillage and smells like subtle soap or shower gel, the guy assumes he is smelling you and your bare freshly soaped nude skin.
