For those projects expecting a little more pedestrian traffic, allow for 2-3 litres per square metre. Our pour on resin is formulated to securly hold the gravel in place whilst retaining a natural look.

Conventional solid surfaces are impermeable but gravel surfaces avoid this problem as water flows freely through the small stones and into the ground, the downside to gravel is that it can be messy due to movement and difficult for pushchairs or wheelchairs. Sprayers can be flushed with white spirit between GravelHold uses which will help to remove any residue and prevent the binder from curing inside the sprayer. Easihold dries clear (but is milky in large quantities) and will not change or add a colour to your stones.

The mixing method leaves the strongest finish - guaranteeing the stones are evenly coated throughout. GCL Products Ltd (Trading as The Garden Range) acts as a credit broker and only offers credit products from Klarna Bank AB. per coat and 1x5 litre Jerry can cover 12-14m² using Spray On Method per coat when applying by the Pour On or Spray On method for the strongest finish. Bags are emptied into a Gorilla Tub before being carried into the working area – the bags could be emptied directly where needed, but this installer prefers to work with the Gorilla Tubs.

Note how a sheet of heavy-duty polythene has been laid down over the preparation area just in case of any spills or splashes. It’s mostly degraded; it rips too easily as it is pulled up; and the sub-grade (the ground beneath) has managed to work its way through. Stones between 4mm and 10mm in diameter work the best, but even stones up to 20mm can work well if angular and clean.
