About this deal

I have to say like most I have been waiting since October for the 3rd Gideon and Eva book, it was a long wait and I wasn't disappointed !

The chemistry between Eva and Gideon is simply erotic where the crucial stages of romance revolve around thoughtless intimacy of lovemaking. I couldn’t take the chance that she’d told me her suspicions just to see if I’d run to him and prove that his breakup with me was a well-crafted lie. Just like we expect from our alphas, sex is used as a mechanism for dealing with problems and expressing love when words seem to fail. Their separation, however, has taken a deeply emotional toll on both of them, intensifying insecurities, necessitating lying to loved ones and amplifying their loneliness. Maybe if she tied up ends with one couple then wrote about side characters who appear in the first book, they should be main in the next book.A couple things struck me about their relationship in this book… one, how much Gideon is evolving ( note action verb – as in he’s still got a way to go).

In response to your comment about Sylvia Day and her informing her fans about the release of further books; I read on her Fan Page: http://www.I thought the first one in the series showed an exploration of an interesting premise (two severely abused people developing a relationship – I could even excuse Gideon’s stalker behaviour as part on that ground because I expected that Eva would demand a change PDQ).

Finally I think that it might be a good opportunity for Gideon to spend some time with Eva’s dad and show him that even though he may have issues, he really does love Eva and will do everything in his power to make things right for them as a couple. I read a lot of epic fantasy so I’m kind of resigned to this extending-the-series nonsense, but it is so, so frustrating. Too bad I knew what kind of information could be leaked from the police, and how easily and often it was done. facepalm* Also, for reasons unknown I’m picturing Brett Kline as Bret Michaels, and Six-Ninths as Poison.

My best friend had decided to try juggling two relationships–one with a woman who accepted him the way he was and one with a man who hated that Cary was involved with someone else. Reminds me of Bon Jovi’s “Always”, Hinder’s two songs (that band faded into obscurity rather swiftly), and Stewie Griffin’s video to go with Bryan Adams’ “Everything I Do (I Do It for You)” au
