About this deal

Now, following the success achieved after ComplexCon in the fall, we are excited to offer the T80 globally. In the United States, the watch became widely known around 1984 as the tough watch that kept accurate time. The watch comes in three different colors: black, silver, and gold, and the face is decorated to celebrate 40 years of Pac-Man.

They’re usually energetic, colorful affairs with a wide array of rare metal from that 20-year stretch, but the era-specific flair is always a bit larger than life, distorted through a rose-tinted lens and obscure cultural one-upmanship. The new T80 has several versions (you can check them all out here), with the Pac-Man model being one of the most popular. Put it another way: I can get you a Rolex Kermit or Hulk or a Patek Philippe Nautilus faster than I can get you a Timex T-80 Pac-Man. Watches labeled water-resistant without a depth indicated can withstand splashes and rain, but should not be submerged. One of the most popular watch brands of the 80s is the Swiss company Swatch, which popularized playful and colorful designs.Flik Flak watches have colorful designs, plastic glass, and quartz movement and are shock-resistant. Our last Casio for this list is the Casio Data Bank, a calculator watch that was introduced in 1983.

Some of the features include chronograph functions, an alarm, a 1/100-second digital stopwatch, an hourly time signal, and an auto-calendar. Now referred to as having a “ retro” design, the new T80 has improved technology but with the charming old school look): a digital chronograph watch with an alarm, month/day/date display, and a daily alarm. The watch face itself is adorned with arcade-styled graphics of the massive ’80s hit arcade game and available in three color options: gold-toned, stainless steel, and a black PVD finish.

This Seiko Prospex model was introduced in the 80s and got nicknamed “ Arnie,” as it was made more popular by Arnold Schwarzenegger, who wore them in two in Commando (1985) and Predator (1987). There’s a slightly rounded edge to the semi-integrated lug shape that feels less harsh than some similar designs, and this roundness is accentuated by a dramatic all-over polish on the silver-tone and gold-tone variants. The Timex T80 was first released in the 1980s, around the time the brand released its first digital watches.

is also known as the “Fat Lady” by watch enthusiasts because of the thicker case needed to house the caliber. This model is also water-resistant to 200m and meets ISO standards, which means it can be used for scuba diving. When talking about 80s fashion, colorful and often oversized clothing come to mind, acid wash jeans and big hair. The Timex T80 x PAC-MAN combines tough digital functionality with retro charm, surprising finishing, and most importantly, fun. The black tone model adds a touch more depth, with matte surfaces on the top of the case and softly rounded octagonal bezel contrasted with mirror polished case sides. This watch was introduced in the late 80s, replacing the popular Casio F-15 which was a hit in the early 80s.
