About this deal

Yes! That’s how versatile SW is. You can consider this color in homes with an interior design style of Modern, Minimalist, Contemporary, Farmhouse, and Coastal. An easel can be used to hold the canvas while you paint. If an easel is not available, use a flat surface. What Colors Do You Need To Paint Clouds? For coordinating colors, you can go monochromatic to fit into a minimalist and modern setting that’s highly sought after these days, or choose contrasting decoration as seen in traditional homes and farmhouses. Monochrome Decoration It’s a cool dark gray perfect for creating accent walls or your kitchen cabinet for a bold statement; combine it with warm whites, beige for trims, or add gold accessories into your space to give it that extra color. Due to its LRV value, it will reflect a little light, so you may not want to use it in small spaces. Storm Cloud Benjamin Moore Color Comparison If you have classical, contemporary, Victorian, or Mid-Century Modern style exteriors, I recommend considering this.

As always, white is usually the most preferred color option for trims, and why not? Whether your color has cool or warm undertones, white is neutral enough to marry it and still stand out. However, ensure these whites don’t have a cool undertone as it may clash with the undertones of Storm Cloud. If your home is transitional, contemporary, or tilts towards a coastal and modern interior design style, Storm Cloud will look great in any of them. The most crucial information about your paint is the light reflective value. They’re usually on a scale of 0-100, but we use 3-97 because there’s no true light or dark. The lower a paint color is on the LRV scale, the darker it’s considered to be, and the higher the number, the lighter.

The LRV of Jubilee is 45, which means it is a light color and would work great in large spaces. The cool tone of this color creates a form of tranquility, so much so that when you enter the room, it feels like you’re in a whole new world. Sherwin Williams Outer Space, commonly called the midnight beauty by admirers and homeowners, is a stunning gray color with blue undertones that gives your home a sleek, fresh, and cool feel.

Bachelor Blue is probably Benjamin Moore’s closest shade to Storm Cloud. It’s a saturated blue with rich gray undertones that makes your space feel intimate and cool. It has an LRV of 23.52, putting it on the dark end of the line. For this purpose, take a clean canvas and select the colors you want to use. Use a large brush to paint the sky, starting at the top of the canvas and working downwards. You can meld colors by mixing them colors. Use lighter colors near the horizon and gradually darken the color as you move up toward the top side. What can I use to make clouds in acrylic paint? Remember, each color has a story to tell – and no two colors are exactly the same (even if they look the same)! For a more realistic look, try varying the size and shape of your clouds. Some clouds may be small and round, while others may be long and thin. This will add interest and variety to your painting. Step 2: Add Cloud Shadows And DepthIt’s a part of the Retro Revival and Pottery Barn Teen color collections and you’d be pleased to know that all thanks to the Storm Cloud’s low reflectivity that absorbs incoming natural light that instantly adds a bold and intimate feel to your home, your walls look closer, leading to the illusion of an enclosed space.

Let it rain finely combine elements of rich blue with a calm gray undertone to create a relaxing energy like the color of the ocean with an LRV of 34, making it a lighter variation of Storm Cloud. This color is a great fit for cooking spaces and living rooms. Combine it with white cabinetry and pine flooring to create a beautiful contrast and accents. Sherwin Williams Jubilee Source: highlandhomes Add highlights of white or yellow for lightning flashes, and use a fan brush to produce wispy edges. Smoke clouds are ethereal and wispy, with a soft, diffuse quality. You have to employ a dry brush with light, feathery strokes. Moreover, you can balance the intimacy of the paint by pairing it with neutral-toned upholstery, white sheer curtains, and lighter-toned bases and neutrals. The final step in painting clouds using acrylics is to add highlights. Use a lighter shade of blue or white to create highlights on the top of the clouds.

At first glance, SW Storm Cloud looks blue. After taking a closer look you realize that it is a traditional almost gunmetal gray meets denim paint color. It can look gray or blue depending on its lighting but Sherwin Williams considers it a blue so we’re going with that. This paint color is a part of the Retro Revival and Pottery Barn Teen color collections. Granite Peak is a dark and rich muted blue paint color with a silk finish. It is great for an indoor accent wall, bedroom accent, and outdoors. It has an LRV of 14 with the softest green undertones and is considered a slate color. I happened upon it during one of my online shopping binges and thought 'OMG, this is so pretty, why not give it the ol' college try?!' It's ridiculously lightweight and easily buildable. And the best part? You don't need ANOTHER makeup brush. I know, that little detail is what got my cheap-ass, too. We all know that makeup is actually more easily spread when it's the same heat as your body temperature, so you don't have to worry about it clumping or anything of the sort! Plus, it looks hella dope on dark skin.
