About this deal

Megan, the baby, adopted by a family of comfortable means, becomes a doctor in the rural Appalachia. Reading this book was an absolute pleasure, but I must say I’m devastated by the fact that it’s over. Incredibly short stories (2-5 pages) that weave together to form a sort of tapestry, but also leave a lot open to the reader. Pernikahan dan karir Sam yg melesat membuat suasana jadi cerah, untuk tahu-tahu dibuat "jatuh" dengan peristiwa tak terduga. Just when I started to get invested into a story, it would end, without resolving any of the half baked thoughts that had begun to form, and ultimately leading me nowhere. Although it’s fast-paced enough to be read in a single sitting, Kaleidoscope is a novel you’ll want to linger with, full of fascinating characters and moments of arresting beauty. While Selznick trusts readers to draw their own conclusions about what is true, he offers rich companionship on the voyage. We get two pieces per tale — first a kaleidoscopic image of shapes broken into crystalline forms; then, on the next page, the scene that was being refracted: a ship, a dragon, a clock, vines, a castle. Brian Selznick proves to be that rare creator capable of following one masterpiece -- The Invention of Hugo Cabret -- with another even more brilliantly executed.Cecily Wong’s dazzling second novel deftly explores the complex push-pull of family and ambition, and the ways we learn to define ourselves in—and out of—our loved ones’ orbits. Alexandra, raised in lavish wealth, marries a powerful man whose pride is in his pedigree and who assumes that Alexandra is her parents’ natural offspring. This individual becomes the driving force behind the story, piecing together the fragments of their shattered lives and unraveling the enigma surrounding their parents' deaths.

Inspired by a trip to France they have created twenty-four brightly coloured projects between them, all using Rowan yarns and Debbie Abrahams Beads. These sketches are amazingly detailed and having read the stories I then enjoyed going back to appreciate the artwork. At its core, Kaleidoscope follows a familiar pattern often found in Steel's works: a murder that sets in motion a series of events centered around loss and the unraveling of mysteries.M Godding Books Ltd is an internet book business running from Wiltshire and sending books all over the world every working day. I loved the fact that we never discover the narrators name, a nod to Daphne du Maurier’s “Rebecca” which I greatly love! Kids will forget they are learning to read, focusing instead on the comic bits, persistence, and vulnerability of an endearing hero. The colour movement is here, welcoming colour into the home whether it be brilliantly bright and bold, or soothing, subtle and subdued. Even after reading the reviews to see what others took away, it didn't coalesce into anything meaningful for me.
