This book was written by someone who might have wanted to talk about important issues but not truly understand or be able to nuances of the issues. For example, when Sienna and Kayden talk to each other, there is a lot of mention of Alzheimer’s, bipolar, and the term “pussy” all being used as an insult, which I found troubling. Perfect Addiction will be directed by Castille Landon, who directed After We Fell and After Ever Happy. Overall, super-steamy and intense in many aspects, but also loaded with bits of anger the reader slushes through.Perfect Addiction: The Movie is currently only in the VERY early stages of pre-production. You may not hear any news for a while, or maybe you might! But please be patient! COVID may delay this process longer but fingers crossed that pre-pro will go on as smoothly as I hope it can! I'm so happy that Constantin and Wattpad studios believe in this story so much. I remember pestering Wattpad about a possible movie adaptation of Perfect Addiction about 2 years ago because I JUST KNEW it was SILVER-SCREEN POTENTIAL. And thankfully, they listened! I feel like the cover doesn't fit the story. It doesn't represent what the story is or fits the mood. I’m not a huge fan of angst in my stories, and typical for the YA theme, this is loaded with it. But we also have growth, understanding, tolerance, and love. The fear gets in the way quite a lot but in the end, we do get a happy happily ever after, or so it seems.

Kayden has a tender heart and a kind spirit - if not a little tainted from the darkness that he seems to carry around with him. Also fun fact but Constantin also did The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, adapted from Cassandra Clare's hit series The Mortal Instruments A.K.A one of my all-time fav authors & the person who inspired me to write in the first place so hey i think that's kinda cool!
