Crafted by hand in Barbados, at our historic distillery established in 1893, distilled with the finest sugarcanes from eight countries throughout the Caribbean and South America, and aged up to 15 years in Kentucky medium char oak barrels to create a beautifully smooth, complex and balanced rum. Beautiful sweet rum, I recommended putting it in the freezer a couple hours before drinking as you wont need any ice that way and it becomes thicker like a thin treacle. The aged Caribbean rum has had native spices added to it, inspired by 16th and 17th century recipes used by West Indian sailors. Look for a lightly sweet flavor, evoking brown sugar, vanilla, fruit and nuts, with a round, cinnamon- and ginger-laced finish.
