Crush the remaining raspberries in a bowl and add the caster sugar, 1 tbsp of honey, and 1 tbsp of Sassenach. When you think of Italy, you think of the classics: the fresh pizza from Naples, creamy Cacio e pepe from Rome, rich red wine from Tuscany, or sweet cannoli from Sicily. They’re all classic comfort flavours, and at this time of year, that’s exactly what is needed. It’s getting colder and darker, and there’s nothing better than a soothing hug in a bowl or glass – a real winter warm. Well, Stambecco liqueurs have come up with just the thing, and the ultimate Italian classic comfort-in-a-bottle: tiramisu liqueur. Over ice, it’s the perfect blend of bitter and sweet, in a similar vein to the real-life dessert. It’s silky like mascarpone, with the richness of coffee and cocoa. Truly delightful, and at only 24% ABV, this is a delectable digestif, that won’t be too overpowering or fiery to taste for even the most delicate of palettes.

Take it out of the fridge around 20 minutes before you want to eat it. Dust with cocoa powder, sprinkle with more chopped chocolate, then serve. The Lowdown: Stambecco Tiramisu Liqueur has a delicious flavour of mascarpone, amaretti biscuits, cocoa and coffee. Master Distillers, Beppe Ronco and Denis Muni have created this liqueur in honour of Tiramisu, the traditional Italian dessert, known and loved around the world. The word Tiramisu translates as “Cheer you up!”. Stambecco Tiramisu is made with 100% natural ingredients including Espresso coffee extracts from local suppliers in the Torino area, which is known as the capital of Italian coffee.

Sweet and oh-so-indulgent, liqueurs are the perfect end to any meal. Typically, they will have a lower ABV of around 15-20% (as opposed to a straight spirit such as gin, which will be upwards of 40%), making them ideal drunk neat or over ice. Stir the Stambecco Tiramisu into the espresso in a shallow bowl. Soak one side of the savoiardi biscuits in the mixture for a couple of seconds before turning them over and repeating.
