Zinc PCA (zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) is included in the serum at a 2% concentration and supports niacinamide in regulating oil production and bacteria that cause acne and even helps improve collagen synthesis. It resembles Belif in texture, color, and performance, although this Naturium moisturizer is fragrance-free and Belif is not. Niacinamide helps to reduce inflammation and redness, while panthenol boosts moisture while soothing the skin. I got a sample of both Tatcha dewy skin creme and drunk elephant protini polypeptide creme from Sephora recently. They were both sooo nice and I felt luxurious putting them on every day. But the cost of both is ridiculous. When I first started using this serum, I couldn’t use it two days in a row on my somewhat sensitive skin since it left my skin a little tight and dry.
