The nifty magnetic mineral-enriched formula is what steals the show in this mascara. The innovative ingredient works with the magnetically charged brush core to lengthen lashes by 40% for 36 hours. The wear: Our lashes stayed looking full and lifted all day, and the formula never felt dry, heavy, or uncomfortable. However, the formula does tend to smudge. When we baked under our eyes, we didn’t see any smudging along the lower lash line until after about six hours, but when we didn’t set our makeup with powder, we did see more smudging after just a few hours. If you tend not to have oily skin, then you might not have any smudging at all. And I haven't even mentioned the other innovative thing about this mascara: the "wiper." Do you ever pull a mascara brush from its tube and think, "Holy shit, that's way too much," so you've got to wipe half of it off? For They're Real! Magnet Mascara, Benefit made the opening of its tube slightly smaller than necessary so that it scrapes away all the excess product from the brush as it's being pulled out.

Many people find the original they’re Real! Mascara hard to remove. However, it’s all about the formula you use to take it off. Benefit has a dedicated they’re Real! Remover if you’d like to stay within the range or I’d recommend a bi-phase eye makeup remover. A bi-phase formula combines two phases of oil and water mixed, which lift away stubborn, long-wear makeup without pulling or tugging. One of my favourites is La Roche-Posay Respectissime. danicag14 Length for days This mascara adds clime and length. Curls lashes nicely while separating for a more lengthy yet natural look. I would definitely recommend using this mascara. yes! As you can see my from my picture, it gave me length and body. I’m wondering where all of those lashes hiding?

We were immediately impressed with the formula and how effortlessly it coated our lashes. Even after layering it through our lashes just a few times, we had impressive length. It also kept our lashes well separated, and they didn’t clump together. lala1211 Excited at first but then....raccoon eyes :( The product really made my lashes pop and look much more dramatic and full but then literally after about 30 minutes of just getting dressed, I noticed it started to flake and add it some major raccoon eyes underneath and I was so disappointed. The brush is sharp but I feel like that was super helpful to get the application right. But just to have that small bit of time of great lashes wasn't worth it to me :( For full disclosure, I’m a big and bold lash type gyal. In fact, I like my lashes as dramatic as a good Hollywood movie, with a touch of reality of course. However, I hate faffing with falsies, so I spend a lot of time hunting for new mascaras that will give me maximum volume and curl with minimal effort. I’m a fan of Benefit mascaras and my expectations were very high, because if we’re talking ‘They’re Real!’ but better, I know we are about to hit iconic grounds. How it works: Custom-designed zig-zag bristles are strategically positioned to fan out, separate, and define lashes, while the magnetic formula helps to extend your lashes by up to 40%!

Its long name is fitting because length is exactly what you can expect from this magnetic mascara. But in true Benefit style, that’s not it. It’s very easy and fast to work with and we loved the lift and length it gave. Even though it does smudge sometimes, it hasn’t stopped us from using it, and we love it as an everyday mascara. Will we be buying the OG They’re Real! Mascara again? We feel kinda bad, but we love the new version so much more, simply for the fact it builds up so fast and adds way more lift and length. However, if you do prefer a more natural-looking, fluffy lash, then you may prefer the original. If you have sparse lashes and want lots of volume, this might not become your go-to mascara as it doesn’t add crazy volume (just plenty of length!). However, you can always try layering this with a volumizing formula to build up the intensity. I would, but I would need to pair it with primer because I found after around 6 hours of wear it smudged on me. But this happens a lot to me with mascaras because my eyelashes touch my brow bone frequently. Tip: Swirl your brush instead of pumping it; this will limit the amount of air in the tube and improve the longevity of your product.One coat later and I was pretty impressed. If I was going out of the house I would definitely go in with another coat or two, as the mascara definitely focuses on length over volume (thanks to the magnetic fibres which cling to the ends of your lashes as you pull the wand away).By the evening, there was a slight transfer on my eyelids, which I usually expect as my skin can be quite oily. However, the staying power was proved by the removal process, requiring a little more elbow grease and good faith to remove all traces.
