To celebrate the Millennium, the Gower Society planned a symbolic link across the area covered by the ancient lordship of Gower between Penlle'r Castell in the north-east and Rhossili in the far south-west of the peninsula. Showcasing the best and little-known parts of Gower, The Gower Way is a mid-distance footpath that the Society mapped out to mark the Millennium.Stunningly beautiful beach - a valley that partially floods at high tide, but a wide sandy beach at low tide, with an extra cliff (with an arch) that sticks out into the bay.
