About this deal

The Rush-40 is also one of the highest FPS shooting Nerf guns available. This is a feature that is exclusive to the Hyper series and tops out just above the Rival series at 100 FPS Rush-40 Ammo (Hyper Rounds) The Rush-40 is a reliable blaster overall, but occasional jams may occur, especially when firing at maximum speed. However, these instances are relatively rare and should not deter players from experiencing the blaster’s high-speed performance. The electric Mach-100 requires 6 D batteries. The other spring/pump action Hyper blasters do not require batteries. Can you use Rival ammo in Hyper Blasters? Author’s note: all the upcoming Hyper blasters were sent by Hasbro for free for review purposes. Thanks, guys!

The Nerf Hyper Siege-50 is a pump-action single-fire blaster with slam-fire ability and features an integrated hopper system that can hold up to 50 rounds. The Rush-40 is a single-fire slide-action blaster. Like all Hyper blasters, it features an integrated hopper where Hyper Rounds are loaded into. A loading port with a flip-up top is located on the rear of the blaster. The blaster's priming slide consists of the entire top half of the blaster, including the hopper. TACTICAL RAILS FOR RELOAD CANISTERS: Attach Nerf Hyper round reload canisters to the tactical rails to refill the hopper fast (canisters and additional rounds each sold separately) Nerf Rival has been a successful line of blasters, and there is now a new series called Hyper. Some may question why Nerf released the Hyper series when it is similar to Rival. Hyper RoundsThe Nerf Hyper Rush-40 blaster boasts an impressive ammo capacity, with a 40-round hopper that allows for plenty of playtimes without having to constantly reload. The reloading process is made even easier with the addition of reload canisters that attach to tactical rails for fast and easy reloading. The top 3 Hyper blasters are the Rush-40, Mach-100, and Siege-50. The Rush-40 is a spring-powered pistol, the Mach-100 is a fully automatic flywheel blaster, and the Siege-50 is a pump-action blaster with slam fire. What advantages do Hyper blasters have? As previously stated, Hyper blasters do not utilize darts but shoot with balls known as Hyper Rounds. These balls are exclusively made for the Hyper series and are incompatible with any other blaster.

On the top of the blaster is an integrated sighting system that will do it’s job as long as you don’t put a reload canister on the top tactical rail. Nerf guns are only so accurate, although it does give you a visual point. RUSH-40 SAFETY FEATURESThe marketing strategy for Hyper has primarily emphasized speed (velocity of firing) and firing capacity. I have already discussed the advantages of firing capacity, so let’s focus on firing velocity. Reloading the Nerf Hyper Rush-40 is a breeze, thanks to the reload canister. Simply open the canister, load the Hyper Rounds, and close the canister to prepare for more foam warfare. The ease of reloading is a significant advantage in fast-paced Nerf battles, allowing players to maintain a constant barrage of foam. FAN FAVORITE FEATURES: Consumers can also expect to see a variety of fan-favorite features in the line including slam fire and large hoppers that allow for more time playing and less time reloading. Hyper blasters have a higher firing capacity compared to Rival blasters because Hyper Rounds are smaller. The Hyper Mach-100 can hold up to 100 rounds, while the Rival Perses can hold 50.

The speed and effectiveness of the Hyper Rounds are major selling points for the Rush-40. These rounds can reach speeds of up to 110 FPS, allowing players to dominate the battlefield with their incredible velocity. The Rush-40’s high-capacity canister ensures you’ll have plenty of ammunition to take advantage of the Hyper Rounds’ performance. On that note, the rate of fire is decent for a pistol, with two shots per second well within the blaster’s capabilities. Casual testing only resulted in the occasional dry fire from a ball not loading. War Performance The Hyper Mach-100, like many other fully automatic Nerf guns, may not have the most comfortable design, but it still provides an enjoyable firing experience. The tactical rails on the Rush-40 offer customization options for players looking to enhance their blaster’s performance and appearance. Attach your favorite Nerf accessories, such as scopes, sights, or additional storage, to create a blaster tailored to your needs and preferences. Ergonomics and comfort of the Rush-40 blaster It’s been a long week, between a honeymoon, getting home, and immediately driving the wife to Dulles to fly home for over a month. To that end, I’m simply ripping American Foam’s image of the inside of the Rush-40.Advantages of Hyper blasters include high ammo capacity, rapid-fire rate, and firing velocity up to 110 fps. They also have a cool, modern aesthetic. What disadvantages do Hyper blasters have? Disadvantages include lower accuracy compared to Rival, potential jamming issues, and Hyper Rounds can get lost/dirty easily. The firing mechanisms can also feel clumsy at times. How many Hyper Rounds can the blasters hold?
