About this deal

When i let go the notion of results, I finally could just enjoy being lost just watching ink flow -- one line, one inch, one curve, thick to thin, thin to thick.

If you’re new to the Sketchbook Skool A Drawing A Day Challenge, here’s what you need to know: To participate, just do a drawing a day. Lisa Congdon's One Drawing a Day - A yearlong Sketchbook for Finding Your Creative Voice is the perfect way to get back into your drawing practice. It is a very welcoming community and there is so much inspiration being passed around and encouragement! An updated look - we've got something exciting coming and we needed to make some changes so we can more easily add new features! It is one of those books that you just keep going back to now and then and it teaches you wonderful looking/copying skills as well as a few illustrations you can learn off pat and impress your friends with.My next stage is to thing about the different objects I want to represent, I am aiming to create works about 8 different things. Each of the 365 activities comes with lots of hints and tips to ensure satisfying results every time. I think even drawing one or two little things a day got me feeling really inspired which was useful when I started to think about more ideas for my FMP.

Lisa Condon, bestselling author and inspiring illustrator, guides you on a yearlong journey to find and refine your artistic voice. I have too many projects I want to start, and consequently, I have not started any because I don't know how to start or which one to choose.Since doing this I have noticed an improvement tin my drawing, and also that I seem like like my work a lot over all. By the end of the year, you'll have a lovely keepsake showing all your progress, how much you've learned about your artistic voice, and all the fun along the way.

I would like to use this space to say thank you to all the people who have messaged me to tell me how Sketch a Day has made their lives better. They have quick, simple drawing ideas on every page, and afterwards you can easily tear it out, put it up in pride of place, or just recycle it and move on to the next one. You can comment on people's sketches so you can ask how they did it, ask for tips, give them some kudos or just be silly! Responsibly harvested papers, recycled, recyclable and reusable materials are used as much as possible. My current painting practice leans heavily on motifs found in other art works, which is something that emerged from these drawn reiterations.

Really like the idea of children getting into the habit of having five minutes of down time a day just to doodle. Who better than Lisa Congdon, bestselling author and inspiring illustrator, to guide you on a yearlong journey to find and refine your own artistic voice. Sometimes I draw requests from people, sometimes I draw in response to current events, sometimes I draw whatever I have an itch to draw. It is not included in promotions available to our main range products, as stated in our terms of service. Even if this doodles didn’t translate into something a bit more major, it was still useful for me to feel like I’d been productive.
