Out of all three included, my favorite is probably the Colorful Raft Stack as I enjoy players having the option to choose which stack to add their animal to. A true HABA classic made in Germany, this game is fun for the whole family and a favorite for Adult Game night too! I like that it teaches hand-eye coordination for kids in a way that is not boring or too easy for adults.

I mean, this is a very cute game, which is to be expected from HABA, but I particularly love the snake.Most people suspect the snake is the foulest to play, but it’s mostly flat, just bendy in unexpected places (it can nicely sit on top of another snake, for instance). Gather the family and see how high you can stack all sorts of animals in this dexterity game by HABA.

But the introduction of the random die roll at the start of every turn keeps the possibilities for kids alive. But who will position the penguin on top of the crocodile, the sheep on top of the penguin, the serpent on the sheep, the toucan. I think because it feels a little bit more game-like than the other My Very First Games we’ve reviewed (we did Off to Bed!Please note that this service can not be used for oversized items (dimensions greater than 61 x 46 x 46cm) and these will need to be sent by a courier. If the entire stack collapses, then the crocodile is placed back in the center and player has to add only two animals to their animal total- then remaining are placed out of play. And if they roll the hand, then they get to force someone else to place the animal for them (with the change of making the animals fall).

Each player then is given 7 different animal tokens: a sheep, penguin, monkey, snake, tucan, collar lizard, and hedgehog.Each turn players will roll the die once and then place or pass their animal tokens on the starting base crocodile. I have to admit that many kid games nowadays are dripping with educational overtones so much that you are not having fun but being forced to learn.

Playing also incidentally and unconsciously trains concentration, memory, reaction skills and lots more. Both in the selection of materials and in the production processes used, the protection of natural resources is a priority for HABA.

In the third game, they work cooperatively to race against the crab, training their dexterity skills with play. Put the penguin on top of the crocodile, the sheep on top of the penguin, the serpent on the sheep… How high can you get the stack before it gets too wobbly! Quick and easy-to-follow rules, combined with the right level of challenge make this a great game for children aged 4 years up. Hand: this symbol means players chooses one of their animals and they pass it to another player for them to stack on the crocodile. Anyways, one title they passed to me was Animal upon Animal: Crest Climbers, a variant of the classic, so let’s dive into that and see what’s going on.
