Body Glove could certainly improve this board by adding two side fins to compliment the center detachable fin, but for casual use and new paddlers, we don't think you'll be disappointed. Body Glove’s latest Performer SUP has drop-stitch construction, with a beautiful wood grain print on both the SUP and paddle blade. PROS: Lightweight and easy to carry, decent glide, fast turns, easy to maneuver, large bungee cargo area, large comfortable traction pad, neoprene cover on centre carry handle, front mount for attaching GoPro, reinforced nose bumper for added durability, nice package gets you on the water with everything you need (except your PFD).

This inflatable SUP was designed with families in mind and has several key features that make it very appealing for paddling with kids and dogs. these fins — they simply stay on the board, and are built to withstand some bumps and bend when rolling up the SUP for storing away. Note the illustrative graphics to the right of the handle — you can wrap the handle around a water bottle . Last but not least, the backpack is workable although it’s not the most comfortable bag on the shoulders.Designed to cater to beginners, families, and seasoned paddlers alike, the BG Performer 11 ticks off most of the “must haves” in a solid iSUP. Right out of the gates (tailgate of my truck) I was excited about the Body Glove Performer 11 inflatable SUP.

Triple-layer stringers above and below the core help resist compression and stretching with shifting weight and triple-layer side rails maximize stiffness. Having said that, this board is a ton of fun on the water and would be a great choice if you’re interested in recreational paddling and general family fun. The top of this year’s Body Glove Performer 11 features a diamond pattern EVA foam traction pad with a super comfortable carrying handle which is located at the middle of the board.
