Cards in the deck include some very familiar (and funny) science fiction tropes and characters which can give you some special abilities, while the introduction of Factions means that with a carefully-built deck you can unlock some truly awesome skills and effects.

Is not only the name of this series, it is also the literally-named mechanic that makes this series so fun.Along with setting up the Eradikus marker and the player pawns, each player takes one of their cubes and places it on their respective health track. Anyway, so once the game comes to a close, everyone counts up their points which are a smorgasbord of things including the units you have collect, the cards you purchased and the artifact and other small treasures you found. There may be one or two cards, but ultimately you have 135 cards (base + expansion) and the trashing capability almost nil. The second level will allow players to trash a faction card from their hand for 5 credits (which could be good! There are two new module boards (double-sided, so four new modules) that will be available for the variable map, which can be important for the schemes.I wasn’t sure about the video game idea at first because I thought it sounded a bit cheesy, but it maybe it’s better than I was thinking. In the Global Interment scheme above, once the first level is filled, all Master Keys are removed from the Market (if you’ve already bought one, you’re fine).

The rest of the setup is pretty standard for Clank, which is you place down the row of 6 cards and create piles of tokens that you will be using.

Granted, you will be spending power crystals to make them available again, but only having five crystals in a four-player game can make it really tight. Look, it’s just a fun game with a lot of replayability and differing mechanisms to introduce new players to the game as well as provide substantial enjoyment to seasoned players.
