About this deal
Noilly Prat Original Dry is the flagship of the Noilly Prat range, and an icon in the gastronomy and mixology world. It is the perfect blend of dry white wine and aromatic herbs, giving it a deliciously complex taste that really makes any drink incredible.
Brought back inside and left to rest for a few months, the wines are then blended together into oak casks. However, in 2009, the extra-dry Noilly recipe exported to the USA was replaced by the original dry formula used worldwide. To taste the dry white wine emerges, with a complex yet delicate bitter finish laced with a touch of spice. Among them Chamomile, Coriander from Morocco, Bitter Oranges from Tunisia, Cardamom from India, or Elderflower.
The Noilly Prat Vermouth is made thanks to a traditional craft, from the outdoor ageing process (only applies to Original Dry and Extra Dry) to the unique maceration process known as the dodinage (stirring by hand). An aromatic blend of 20 different herbs and spices sourced from all over the world are used to gently infuse the wines. These cookies help provide information on metrics the number of visitors, bounce rate, traffic source, etc. Noilly Prat Original Dry Vermouth is best served chilled or with ice, and garnished with a twist of lemon peel. It makes for a mean martini and, in good time for Summer, I must share with you one of my favourite drinks for when it’s hot: pour a generous amount of Noilly Prat into a glass, tumble in ice cubes, top up with soda water or fizzy mineral water, and drop in a few fresh mint leaves.
