About this deal

It has an sRGB picture mode that locks the colors to the sRGB color space so that most web content doesn't look oversaturated. This one is the most unnatural looking to me; I have tweaked the colors and settings to where the the saturation isn't as extreme but the blues still look a bit off. I swapped the Dell out for the GN850 once I received it and I've been using it side-by-side with the GL83A for the past couple of days.

However, it's not a good choice for dark rooms because it has a low contrast ratio that makes blacks appear closer to gray. They are both great monitors and pretty similar but I think the DCI-P3 color gamut of the GN850 has more drawbacks than advantages. Enabling ClearType (top photo) helps improve the appearance of diagonal lines, such as on R, N, G, and S, but straight lines aren't as bold, as seen on the letters T and I.Most displays have the ability to be tilted forward and backward as to provide a more comfortable viewing position for the user. Display Information about the main characteristics of the display - panel, backlight, resolution, refresh rate, etc. It also has a quicker response time at its max refresh rate, making it a slightly better choice for gaming. In games you still get the extra saturation on the GN850 but I know many people play with boosted digital vibrance so this could be a plus for them. They both have outstanding response time and low input lag for gaming, but the MSI has a slightly higher 165Hz refresh rate. The percentage of the approximate area, taken by the active part of the screen, to the total front area. They perform very similarly gaming-wise; the Gigabyte has a higher refresh rate of 170Hz, but the LG has a better response time. However, the hook for cable management feels a bit flimsy, but this may only be a problem if you're constantly removing cables from it.

If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the height is calculated from the diagonal and the aspect ratio. LG 27GR75Q UltraGear Gaming Monitor 27" QHD IPS HDR 10, 2560x1440, 1ms, G-Sync Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium 165Hz, HDMI 2. Gamers should appreciate the incredible response time at its max refresh rate of 144Hz, resulting in minimal motion blur, and it remains fast when gaming at 60Hz.On the other hand, the LG has much better out-of-the-box accuracy, so you may not need to get it calibrated.
