With these Behringer mixers, they have twin sockets on the channels, which is a bit unusual (but handy). Im confused because ive only worked with a Yamaha MG21 so far and that has seperate red/white RCA connecters seperately for each stereo channels.

At least the user manual says so, and that conflicts with other documentation that says everything is unbalanced. No worries, the XENYX preamps sound as good as whatever Behringer had in the older MXB1002 and all the unique features to the original were kept. A gazillion uses for this type of mixer, especially with the quality channel faders and EQ,stereo channel in,etc. rather than sending the "FX" to its output take the output of that pot and (maybe using a Dsub on the back) use that as a direct out?
