About this deal

I loved that this was a historical fiction book, and Radhika was gobsmacked when she found that Anne Boleyn was a real person, who was actually executed in the way the book described! I'm still at teenage age and i don't use Goodreads but i had to leave some type of review for this amazing book! I think I’ve sort of gotten used to unnecessary romance at this point since that’s what I’ve started to expect! I felt that he could have used a little more character development because I enjoyed his character but I didn't feel as attached to his character as I did with Ava's character. There is drama, there is some serious competition, and there are untold secrets laced within the pages.

Cassie’s excited to get to experience the Frost Fairs she’s heard about, where people used to have a huge festival on the frozen-over Thames, but when she tries to get Frost back to the countryside, she starts to run into trouble. At times her love for her pet surpasses the love for her ‘ghost’ father, which is sad but made sense because her pet was the only thing around real enough to merit her emotional investment (until Flynn arrives). And when the murdered boy’s sister goes missing, Frost and Waters must work together to find her – before it’s too late.If you are a fan of stories with original ideas and addictive writing then you'll want to grab this one! But with a long list of enemies who might want the bookie dead, the team have got their work cut out for them. Convent life is perfectly captured - the smell of beeswax and incense; the petty cruelties of the nuns; the eccentricities of Nanda's school friends. Even though Torion and Ava have good banter, Shalini is the comic relief you don't know you need until she's spewing her (at times rather impure) thoughts.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I realised that Anne Boleyn got executed just because she knew a lot. In it, we meet Ava, who on her birthday, finds her boyfriend (who she's been paying his mortgage while he's in school) in bed with someone he's been having an affair with for two years. Throughout her journey, Frost must face a dangerous journey while experiencing emotions such as betrayal and love that she had never experience in her small, forgotten apartment. There’s always something different in her books, a twist, a funny detail, a fresh intake on a common story or fantastical creature. While the force is busy dealing with a spate of local burglaries, the body of 15-year-old Samantha Ellis is discovered in woodland next to the nearby railway track.

Will Frost find the missing girls before his new nemesis forces him away from Denton once and for all? Thinking that he is the sole occupant of the house, he is surprised and annoyed when he discovers a young woman in residence. Determined to save her pet, Frost and Bunt venture out into the city plagued with cannibals and rogue robots. I will say, it did take a while to get back into the groove of things – I’ve been reading a lot of mysteries and thrillers lately, and I rate those more objectively than I do with YA novels, which I usually rate not only objectively, but based on my feels – and once it got to Part 3, I was really excited to see where things went and enjoyed the darker turn the story took.

The idea of a world with both robots and zombies (rather, 'eaters', which are different from zombies because they can talk and still somewhat control themselves and their "dietary cravings" and even appear normal) intrigued me. I really enjoyed this it’s a Fae fantasy enemies-to-lovers slow-burn romance set in an alternate world where humans are now aware of the existence of faerie. So turns out, there's not much I liked about it besides the cover and few enjoyable moments of the competition but other than that it wasn't great. Whilst the bulk of the book would, I think, be thoroughly readable by someone who isn’t a Christian, these practical and prayerful features make it really valuable for those of us pondering how to bring our theology carefully into the public square. If you make a purchase through those links, I may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. However, all the candidates have to go through a tournament that is a mixture of hunger games and the bachelor, and it is all televised. When everything else in you died – when your world has collapsed and your love is gone, along with your humor and your empathy and your understanding; when your beliefs have dried up and your motivation has been depleted and your will has been shattered; when you believe you have absolutely nothing left; when you feel the deep hole in your soul, the emptiness – there lies the smallest of sparks that will start the largest of fires: hope.
