Like any tent with this material, it's like a sauna within seconds in the heat, but some space blankets see to that. A bathtub groundsheet, for the living area, was provided with the tent but this wasn't needed as the ground was dry. You have already seen about its huge inner door which has one mesh layer, so you can use it that way as long as you are not cold. Take the advise of an earlier reviewer and set it up before you go and pre-attached the ground sheet.
