One of the things that impressed me the most about this pack was the warranty that F-Stop puts behind it.

At first touch, this doesn’t give you that soft and squishy feeling some people might be used to with other shoulder straps, but I found the added density was beneficial when carrying hefty loads for long periods. Couple this with the excellent straps and you have a great way to carry everything from tripods to skis.The BLOOM™ foam used in the shoulder straps and waist belt significantly improves the wearing comfort.

The Small Pro works in combination with the Medium Slope ICU, and the Small Shallow works in combination with the Large Pro ICU.If you carry a tripod, it can be mounted either on the front or the side of the bag using the multiple quick-release straps. I have also picked up the Small Pro and Medium Slope ICU with the idea that if I needed a full bag of gear I could throw both in, and if I only needed a regular or small kit I could use just one of the ICUs. Alternatively, if you mount a tripod to the front of your bag, you can stick two of its feet into this pocket for support.

We could have easily packed a lot more than what’s pictured; several pockets and pouches were empty.I also firmly believe that a bag designed for outdoor photography should come with a method for attaching a tripod. Expandable side pockets adjust to your needs, and a plethora of buckles allow for attaching even the most awkward of production necessities (gimbals, drones, cranes…). The Tilopa has some seriously beefy hip straps that are completely void of any pressure points and feel like they’re simply hugging your waist.
