The sticks have no expiry date and are endlessly reusable, however, If you do decide that it's time that your stick was decomposed, then they are made from a bioplastic compliant with European Regulation EN14995 for compostability meaning you can dispose of FixIts in your garden waste collection bin (or local equivalent, where available) where you waste services will take it to an industrial composting site where FixIts will be able to fully compost. And the best part is that even when it’s been heated it doesn’t release any toxic chemicals or harmful substances.
