The great thing about re-doing a costume is that you get to improve upon it, and correct all the little things you wish you had done differently the first time around. Not one to repeat a costume, I decided to go a different route and do Holly Golightly in her sleeping mask and men’s shirt. After finishing both sides, I added buttonholes where I removed those four buttons earlier and inserted the black plastic tuxedo buttons. It’s a beautiful, delicately designed pink dress by designer Givenchy that I personally feel merited a slot in Holly Golightly’s iconic looks.
