The Honeywell HY254E QuietSet Tower Fan has eight levels of quiet control for continuous comfort, including a sleep setting and also a white noise setting which can be used as an aid to get to sleep- blocking out distracting inconsistent sounds. The oscillating feature provides full room coverage when in use, cooling your environment until its no longer necessary. There are both cheaper, and more expensive fans that can do this, I don't see why this is not true for this too.
