I couldn’t say it was something we liked or hate but it had an aftertaste that made us think we might prefer it to be mixed than drank on the rocks. There are many different brands of spiced rum available on the market, each with its own unique flavour profile. I’ll be honest, I didn’t follow too intensely at first but the promo is what truly caught my attention.

A blend of Jamaican and Bajan Rums, spiced only with natural and vegan ingredients and Brough together by a cold, low and slow maceration process. Recommended serve is on the rocks, but fits just as well in a cocktail, such as the Las Olas New Fashioned which is a modern rum twist on the classic Old Fashioned Cocktail. Artisanally crafted and beautifully presented, Las Olas is a premium blend of unaged pot still white rums from Barbados and Jamaica; spiced with notes of vanilla, gold cherry, and roasted coffee beans.

I used to draw inspiration from wanting to make history and legacy, but now it’s my newborn daughter, I want to give her the life she deserves and I never had.
