There is still 12" space beteen the structural brace bars and the blue "Makita" plastic insigna before the handles. It also helps it's not ugly when in the house for long periods, and it's easy to roll out of the way and move elsewhere. With the way this is; most likely, I can get away with adding an extra large (12 1/2" tall) interlocking container, (at worst, I would remove the small one) -or- adding another large -or- stacking on another set of medium and small interlocking containers.
