I would recommend this to book to parents to read to their children because of the sweet bond between the father and son bears. Being with Dad is so much fun, from trips to the farm and learning to swim, to hunting for bugs and sharing warm cuddles. Personal Response/ Recommendation: This book was a very enjoyable and reminded me of my childhood with my dad.It showcases their close relationship from the beginning when the dad wakes his son up until bedtime when he tells him stories to fall asleep. The issustrations are wonderful, and the imagination of the little girl makes this story a very worthwhile read. His dad's acting weird, his mum too, and all he wants is for everything to go back to normal, to three months before when his parents were happy and still lived together. A playful and loving father and son spend a delightful day bonding together, from a wake-up nose tickle to a final nighttime cuddle. If you’ve ever seen a Jellycat product on the shelf and resisted picking it up – or at the very least letting out an “aww” – then there’s probably something wrong with you.
