After two albums and a run of hit singles on the UK label, the group moved across to Mercury Records in 1975. The album has been reissued on several occasions with bonus tracks including b-sides and single edits and has been remastered. When I read the description of the 2010 SACD, it states that the tapes used were Japanese domestic tapes, not the UK tapes. This limited edition archival inkjet print is one of a collection of 10cc artworks published by Hypergallery in 2012.

ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK was one of their early releases FOR 10CC and while it was a very good production value, the various people involved in the PRODUCTION were of course none but the obvious best quality, and the songs themselves were of the best quality. Other bands may have been tempted to batten down an image or a particular sound to solidify their career or, in modern parlance, their base.
