About this deal

Escucha audiolibros narrados por las mejores voces españolas e internacionales y llévalos contigo allá donde vayas. It kept me looking for excuses and breaks to be able to pick it up whenever I could and ends extremely satisfactorily, even while leaving you wanting to follow Raker on his next case. His novels have been selected for the Richard and Judy Book Club three times, and his work has been nominated for a National Book Award and the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger. This book has about 200 pages in it so its not to small but not to big either if your a reader who like something small. I thought about this quote also while reading this book, though here less figuratively but literally.

But when Mary Towne employs him to find her son Alex, he doesn't realise what torments he is letting himself in for. Seller has stated it will dispatch the item within 1 working day upon receipt of cleared payment - opens in a new window or tab .Alex’s life begins to unfold in front of Raker and the missing persons’ investigator finds dangerous secrets in the apparently innocent life of Alex Towne – secrets that a group of killers have guarded dearly, and that they continue to guard, even at the cost of Raker’s life. I enjoyed this book very much and like most people, thought this was going to be a book about some woman saving her daughter from some creepy stalker. Having bought it I may try again in a few months but I still think it will hover around the pile to go to the village hall for others to try. He has been nominated for a National Book Award, twice selected for the Richard and Judy Book Club, and shortlisted for the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger.

He is also the host and producer of the chart-topping Missing podcast and is currently developing an original TV series with the team behind Line of Duty . Then we get mired in a twenty-page info dump that seems heavy-handed and ultimately useless; leaving certain aspects unrevealed would have been more satisfying in certain ways, I suspect. The book opens with a Coben-esque conundrum - David is tasked with finding the dead son of a friend, who swears she saw him very much alive, walking the streets of London a month or so earlier.I think the biggest problem here is that you just don't care about any of the characters, or what happens to them. But he doesn’t want her money, only her suffering–and he will kill Veda if Sue doesn’t follow his every command. As soon as I caught the faintest whiff of supernatural I wasn't mad because I wasn't warned about it, I was excited for it to show itself completely and just add to the intensity of the novel.
