The WTA test method is particularly tough on DPC products because the test walls are subjected to continual damp with no "dwell period" to assist the curing of the cream. Dryzone then diffuses before curing to form a continuous water-repellent barrier, preventing rising damp and creating a damp proof course.

Once injected all the ingredients activate and spread through the pores of the cement motor line, with the specially formed ingredients it cures to form a physical damp proof course protecting the treated walls against rising damp. Polysiloxanes are formed in situ and the curing of the damp proof course starts immediately with a final cure within 2-6 weeks depending on the wall thickness. This cream is designed to prevent rising damp and penetrate masonry pores, effectively curing dampness in your walls.

It is introduced along the mortar course at regular intervals by injecting it into pre-drilled holes. Once injected, the cream diffuses along the mortar course before curing to form a breathable water-repellent resin – preventing dampness from rising up the wall.

Use No Hydro 12mm Terracotta DPC Injection Plugs to cap the drill holes that have been injected with No Hydro Damp Proofing Cream. Construction Chemicals Envirosafe One Shot Damp Proof Injection Cream technology is a unique silicone emulsion cream for injection into mortar beds to control rising dampness. Once the holes have been drilled, our technicians will inject the silicone-based chemical damp proofing cream. As with all remedial damp-proofing systems, it is necessary to remove and replace any salt-contaminated plaster.
