About this deal

Fine atomization is achieved with the smallest air compressors, making NEO an affordable option for general purpose spraying and for anyone wanting to airbrush for the first time.

This is a strange little compressor and I'm really not quite sure which target market it is aimed at, other than the suppositions above. The Neo CN is suitable for use at low air pressures between 5 to 35 psi, so can be operated with smaller compressors.Swap tips and techniques, show your latest builds/WIPs, post kit reviews and discuss the latest kits! So practice on paper first, get a feel for that trigger, learn how much pressure is needed for each task.

The unit has no regulator or water trap, and relies on a push button on the top to turn it on and translate through the three power settings, medium, high and low. No argument from me, having used a cheap chinese AB for several early projects then moving to the Eclipse was a game changer. But still, the Neo's are certainly a better choice than the no-name Chinese brushes you see so much of. All Neo for Iwata Airbrushes are warranted by Anest Iwata-Medea agaist all manufacturing defects of materials and manufacture or workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. A siphon feed airbrush requires slightly more air pressure, than a gravity feed airbrush, as it has to draw the paint up from the paint pot. But, with Neo, there is so little space for air flow to begin with, that this would most likely soon affect the spray pattern. The Neo Series airbrushes are much better quality than the cheap copies of Iwata airbrushes that are available on the market, and are suitable for beginners to professionals for all applications.

This unit weighs less than a pound and comes with a set of international adaptors so it can be used anywhere in the world. But it was worth it as time lost cleaning and unblocking the head on the cheapo could be used else where. With some practice I should be able to spray on the German camo spots on my models; just need to get used to the lighter trigger. The Iwata Neo BCN siphon feed airbrush comes with a 28cc (1oz) plastic paint pot which hangs below the front of the airbrush. I am no expert in these things and I can see the advantage of the compressor + tank combo, which if ever we move to a bigger place I will get, however, for the moment this little compressor is great. The Neo for Iwata Gravity-Feed Airbrushing Kit is designed for the first-time or occasional airbrusher. Arriving in a small, quite stylish white box, with a black stripe to one side and the name of the compressor on all faces, this unit is like nothing else.

The NEO is very affordable, sprays great with an inexpensive compressor and is backed by t he leading company in the airbrush market. They have been designed and produced by Iwata-Medea to perform well at lower air pressures when used with smaller air compressors, although siphon feed airbrushes require slightly higher air pressures to pull paint up from inside the attached bottle. The Neo Series airbrushes are much better quality than the cheap copies of Iwata airbrushes available on the market and are suitable for beginners and professionals for all applications. Includes interchangeable large (1/4 oz) and medium (1/10 oz) cups designed with a funnel shape, which makes for easy clean-up and more efficient paint flow. The purpose of collecting these files is to perform analysis that will contribute to the software development. The Neo for Iwata CN gravity feed airbrush is preferred when working in small to medium sized areas with small amounts of paint.
