About this deal

So has there been any interest in making a movie, TV series, or video game out of Rebellion’s Fury or Flames Of Rebellion? As long as you behave yourself - edit to add there was supposed to be a smiley face at the end of that ! We’re working on some new stuff for that story right now, and I’m pretty happy with how that turned out. If there's a more realistic exposition of the Casual movement of the 80s than Green Street Hooligans 2: Stand Your Ground, featuring a dude who played a Hobbit, then I haven't seen it. As we all know at that time the ' Gorgie Aggro ' were still there or thereabouts but it wasn't until after Hibs in April 85 at Tynecastle that the violence on the terraces and on the streets took a back seat from then on in leaving the casuals to try an emulate the Aberdeen and Motherwell lads.

In 1985, a Hibs fan was almost killed after a fight between the two firms, while Dons fans aplenty were left with scars and wounds from fierce fighting. For a period of time these people did their level best to spoil the enjoyment of going to watch football which ultimately culminated in bodies being pulled out for loved ones to bury thanks to the stupidity of the pondlife who wanted to carry out For them, fighting is a central source of meaning, status or reputation, and pleasurable emotional arousal. I’m pretty sure anyone who enjoyed either of these series would have a good chance of liking the other. As soon as I read a sentence saying something: "There were six of us and 10 million Rangers but we were pure radge so we just rushed them anyway and they all scattered" I usually pass it on to the Scouts' jumble sale. I was always a voracious reader, though I have to say that writing has taken a chunk out of my reading time.

I was watching a documentary on Martin McGuiness on BBC4 the other night and he was coming out with the same "we don't kill civilians" nonsense. In the more recent time period, David Drake, for weaving history into his stories and using actual historical events as the seed for new adventures, which is something I try to do myself.
