It consists of five perfumes: Le Bateleur, L’Imperatrice, L’Amoureux, La Roue de la Fortune and La Lune. The sweetness and delicacy of its fruity-floral notes form a striking contrast with the strength of the L’Imperatrice muse, highlighting her irresistible confidence and force of character. I can see how it might be perceived that way,, but luckily on me it’s like a cool splash of watermelon dew without smelling like watermelon Bubblicious. Today in the 30 degree heat I applied it at 10 in the morning and now at almost 5 pm I feel it clearly from myself, which happens really seldom in my case. Smells great and really unique, but NEVER EVER put more than 2-3 sprays or else it gets super strong and you will hate it.

To my sensitive nose this isn't irritating at all, does not make me sneeze etc (which many perfumes do). I think that 99% of men find this fragrance very attractive but many women don’t because they are looking for something more complicated (less straightforward sexy, you know).But for me it serves a very specific purpose, its like these work appropriate clothes cluttering up your closet that you can't get rid of because they are perfectly bland and boring to fit the office, while the rest of your stuff is so much nicer but you really don't want to suck the joy out of wearing them in a corporate setting.

The warm and slightly sweet aroma of the tobacco is often rounded off with floral and woody fragrances. I don't know if you can still purchase this version, I tried the new, limited edition and did not care for it. This has become one of my favourites it's just such a lovely juicy smell that actually lasts quite long on clothing. Maybe the anthology version would work better with my chemistry but even smelling this in the bottle, sour fruit body odor!

I probably wouldn't hate it much, if it wasn't for the watermelon note, but that really is up to your taste, I hate watermelon scents in general. I was shocked because I didn't think I had gotten close enough that she could smell my perfume and also because I had last sprayed 3+ hours ago and I had thought this perfume to be "weak"- definitely not! It could be because of the reaction with our skin's pH, so I suggest wearing it on clothes instead of the neck or wrist.

I just wish it had a little more to give, but I love it and I would rather deal with its faults than not at all.It's equal parts green, fresh and fruity so if you're looking for a yummy coctail-like fragrance, this might not be it. On the other hand: this would take a very special guy to pull off, but on the right skin the basenotes would be brought to the fore and the flowers would wane a bit: someone who has a natural "muskiness" about them but not "sour" skin. I used to wear it all the time back then… Now it’s just here and there I’m sitting here with it on my wrist reading reviews and came across a reviewer saying they were getting “armpit watermelon”. In the awareness that a lot of people get “a fruity summer” out of this bottle I have to say that was not what I got out of this back in 2009 and even now.
