Together we’re making a difference for even more students in San Francisco and are supporting their paths to and through college. We envision New Mission as an exemplary college-prep school that develops high-achieving graduates who thrive in post-secondary education and beyond.

Once in college, our college mentoring program – Alumni Mentoring Program (AMP) – matches college freshmen with older alumni to assist newer students with transitioning into, navigating through, and succeeding in college. Beginning in the Fall of the 2007/08 school year, the Mission faculty collectively created a working definition of Anti-Racist/Equity education: Anti-Racist/Equity Teaching promotes respect for diversity and creates a context within which students' experiences can be understood, appreciated, and connected to the curriculum. New Mission maintains a C- (70%) grade requirement to remain in good standing, and offers programs including Homework Academy and Saturday Success Academy as built in support available to all students. To reduce queueing and improve the experience, the High Ropes will be managed through timed slots, participants will be able to choose this at the time of their booking, subject to availability.Mission has a lot of programs that cultivate student interest, prepare our students for post-secondary education, support their health needs, and many more.

Mission is the Academic Scholars Advancement Program (ASAP) is a summer program that sends 150 Mission High School athletes attended 31 programs.
